[Platonic] Mino x Shallare

Requested by SpACE_Venturer! I'm so sorry this is gonna suck a little bit- realized how inexperienced I am with writing Mino :(

Holding a container of battery acid, Mino found themselves consuming the whole thing, not thinking once about the consequences. Their system started to show errors and quickly threw away the container.

"That was- a mistAKE- need to s... See sha- llaaare-"

They slowly made their way to the sky emporium, struggling with every step. Ixol took notice of Mino's strange movement and twitching and walks over to them.

"Hey there! You alright?"

"Does IT- look lik- like I aaaam?

"No, of course not. You're like malfunctioning right?"

"... Just take m- me to shaLLARE- staaaars"

"Yeah okay sure. But first how about we go to distortion paradise-"

"no"

"I was kidding anyway, fine. But I tell you, my world isn't that bad than it originally was!"

"St- still nooo."

"Okay"

Ixol starting dragging Mino to Shallare's world, to which they let him do without complaining. He walks into Adventure Grounds where Shallare was fixing a bully bot.

"Hey Shallare, Mino's got a malfunction"

"They- did you bring them to your world again?"

"What? No! They don't even want to be there. I'm just as confused as you are"

"drINKING a looot of battery ac- cid was a baaad idea"

"Oh Mino I told you not to drink that in large quantities, you know how prone to breaking you system is"

"Sorry."

"Why didn't you share some of it with me?"

"Ixol don't drink battery acid."

"But I want to drink it-"

"No. And don't you have other things to do?"

"Not really"

"Then do me a favor and feed the fishes over there, I know how you love fish and everything"

"Where's the fish food?"

"Over there by the boxes near the... 'fish pond' whatever you call it"

"Okay!" Ixol headed to the fish food, feeding the fish around Shallare's world.

"Now let's see what's damaged, hm"

Shallare looks over to Mino's inner components, finding melted wires and damaged pieces of their overall form. Hr looks over to a box full of spare parts, finding anything useful to replace the broken components. It doesn't take long before Mino was fully repaired, Ixol seemed to be occupied with the fishes, giving them head pats as they peek a little from the water.

"Now don't do that again, am I clear about that?"

"Crystal clear... Why does there need to be a limit on what I can drink? How does it malfunction something?"

"Your 'stomach' can't hold much at once. Besides it won't be fun if that battery acid overflows right out of your mouth and make a mess- or you shut down as the acid seeps into your wires and gears. Just like how a person would possibly end up wasting up the excess food or water, or struggle with breathing- and you know where that goes"

"Oh. I understand, I will not do it again"

"Good, now take this little can of blueberry oil and you can go"

"Where's Ixol?"

"He's-" Shallare looked over to where Ixol went, he was swimming happily in the waters as the fish circle around him, playfully nudging him. "I don't think I should disturb him, as long as he's not burning anything, I guess that's fine"

"Huh. Do you think I can be waterproof and get into the water like that?"

"You're... Too heavy to float though, waterproof, yes, but you won't be able to swim"

"I can always just sit around the sides, that's not going to cause rust?"

"Hm. I'll see what I can do to make you waterproof, until then, take it easy with the consumption of things"

"You're really going to just dismiss me like that?"

"I mean I'm not that busy, and that bully bot is near completion with their repairs"

"Could you show me a thing or two about how to fix bully bots? So I don't need to call you all the time for repairs?"

"Why of course! Come here, I'll teach you the basics! Normally I'll just place a sort of thing into your system for you to download the information, but let's put that AI of yours to us this time!"

"Sounds great, I'm willing to learn about this- is it difficult?"

"If you're bad at memorizing, it is"

"That's not too bad then"

"Good, now here's what you need to know..." They spent the day learning about how to repair bully bots, Mino learns a lot and- Ixol is still occupied with the fishes, but neither of them try to bother him.
