"Who the hell would do this?" the brown-haired British woman hissed, clutching the walker mask.

The group had made it away from the walker-infested graveyard by the morning. The storm had just about passed them by, and the sun had brightened up the sky. The two women CJ was still yet to know the names of were storming ahead. Michonne and CJ were on either side of Eugene, holding his arm around their shoulders helping him to walk quickly, and Daryl and Aaron were carrying Jesus' body.

"I suspect some vessel filled with a chunky salsa of abnormal impulses and metastasized rage," Eugene rambled in a very 'Eugene' way.

"It's full-on batshit," the other stranger, a redhead, muttered.

"You think there's more of 'em?" Aaron asked.

"Yeah," Daryl replied.

"So, what do we do?" the British woman asked.

"Right now, we keep moving," CJ decided.

They made their way back to where CJ and the guys had left the horses locked up the previous day. Eugene rode on one horse, so he could rest his leg, and they put Jesus' body on the other one to take back to the Hilltop for a funeral. The two new women had their own horse, the red head holding the reins and the British woman sat behind her.

They were able to slow their pace down now that they were in the clear, and they got to the main road, taking the fastest route back to the Hilltop. Daryl and Michonne were walking together leading the group, Dog running around ahead of them. CJ walked with Aaron beside the horse carrying Jesus. She kept one hand on her dead friend's back and carried his sword in her free hand.

"I'm Yumiko," the British woman introduced herself to CJ. "This is Magna."

"CJ," she replied.

"You're in charge of their council at Alexandria, right?" Magna asked, and CJ nodded. "Michonne told us about you. Her kid, that little girl that saved us, she seemed to believe you'd vouch for us."

"Aaron told me your group seemed good," CJ replied. "If they all vouch for you back home then I got no reason to think differently. The rest of your people, they're back at the Hilltop?" Yumiko nodded. "I look forward to meeting them when we get back."

Magna offered a faint smile and nodded her head toward Jesus. "I wish I'd met him before. Sounds like he was a good one."

"He was," CJ replied quietly.

"He shouldn't have been out here," Aaron muttered.

"It's my fault," Eugene mumbled. "If I hadn't-"

"Jesus made his own decisions," Aaron cut him off with a snap. "We all knew the risks of being out here."

Dog started barking at the trees when they heard the growling of walkers in the woods. They could see a small herd traveling through the treeline, and they all came to a stop.

"They the livin' kind or original recipe?" Eugene asked.

"Let's find out," Daryl muttered. "Good dog."

**********

They made their way along the road until they came to a small, covered bridge. Whilst the rest of the group hid out of sight, CJ stood at one end of the bridge as she waited for the walkers. There were seven or eight coming her way, and she stood her ground as they all growled, making their way across the bridge towards her.

She raised her bow and pulled back and arrow, firing at a walker's leg. When it didn't react, she pulled out another arrow and fired at the next walker.
