Chapter 28

At Jeon's residence, the atmosphere was stormy. It felt suffocating to Jimin so he left. He didn't want to involve himself in the shit his brother was planning. He didn't support that and will never do.

But Jeon couple, they were not happy at all with their son's weird behaviour there. Their family is simple who just hopes for everything to go well. Jungmin followed what he felt was right for his family and it never turned out to be wrong. But today, what he wanted and felt right didn't seem right for his son.

"Jungkook, sit down." He calmly ordered him. "Now answer honestly, what happened there?" He asked while staring at his now stiff son. Jungkook's shoulders tensed at the question.

"Why are you both so determined to know? Just let it be. You've so much work to do." Jungkook said excusing himself.

"For God's sake Jungkook, don't make me scold you now. At this rate, you are behaving like nothing but a stubborn kid." Jinha said in helpless tone. Jungkook sighed and motioned her to take a seat infront of him, beside his father.

"Now let's start with my questions. What did you both think about Taehyung?" He asked making Jinha to pause her internal monologue of concern and look at her husband.

"He looks pretty good... Don't know about his mannerisms but his values seem right." Jinha said making Jungkook shake his head. He then looked at his father for his view.

"I don't know, I don't really find him fit for marrying you. I don't find him fit for marrying in the first place." Jungmin stated making Jungkook frown. He knows his father never warms up to someone he just met. But the point he made, was bothering Jungkook. Afterall, he was also forcing Taehyung to marry...which Taehyung himself doesn't want to.

"Now tell me why do you feel like that about him, one by one." He said and gazed at his mother who understood.
"I feel, not every good person likes to impress others y'know. That's what he did. He didn't try to impress us, he was simple and decent. Not too much, nor too less. Perfect for my son." She said with sparkling eyes. Jungmin smiled at his wife and held her hand.

"Whatever you just said, doesn't really happen in reality love. Everyone has different intentions and we don't even know him. He could be like anyone y'know. He might an alcoholic? An abuser? We never know love. We've to be sure. How can we just agree?" Jungmin tried to convince his view point against Taehyung to his wife who just shooked her head denial.

"He doesn't seem like that!" She argued. "How do you know that now Jinha?" He asked with a done tone. While Jungkook just sat there, listening to his parents' concern and witnessing their heartwarming actions. They both love eachother so much. It can be clearly seen. So obvious that it made him smile.

"I just have this gut feeling. My instincts are never wrong Jungmin! I'm telling you, let our baby marry him. He will be the happiest!" She ensured with a reassuring smile.

"I know my love but... Fine. Let's take this risk. I'm ready. I will support my son in every matter." Jungmin said and looked at Jungkook who was lost in his thoughts while looking at his so in love parents.

"Jungkook? You there? Hey!" Jungmin yelled which caused Jungkook to jerk out of his trance and smile at his parents.

"Yeah, what were you saying?" He asked with a soft smile.

"I'm ready for your marriage. Just be honest with us about the condition there okay. Don't feel pressured, we are always here for you." Jungmin said while smiling softly at his son who just nodded.

"I know you both have your own set of doubts. But please, be aware that I'm also your son! Strong enough for every hard situation. I'll manage." Jungkook assured them with a determined look.

"Are you sure though? With this marriage?" Jinha again asked him while sitting now beside him and patting his back.

"Yes, don't stress okay!" Jungkook said giving them his famous smile. The couple smiled at their cute son with immense love in their eyes.

"Now go and sort out everything with your brother. He is upstairs go!" Jinha said which made Jungkook to quickly stand up and run upstairs.

Jungmin sighed in contentment and looked at his wife who blinked her eyes.

Everything will be alright.

Jungkook entered in the room to find Jimin on bed, face buried in his pillow and body spread out like a starfish. He chuckled at his posture which made Jimin alert.

"Oh you came? I thought you will marry him at that time of meeting. Like a desperate shit you are!" Jimin yelled through pillow which came out to be muffled.

"No hyung, I've packing to do. How can I just marry him like that huh?" Jungkook teased making him groan.

"You're making my head pain now!" He said and sat up, glaring at Jungkook. "When do I not make your head pain?" Jungkook asked with a sly grin.

"Right, now just stop behaving like an ass that you are..." He said while sighing. Jungkook sat on the bed and grabbed his palms.

"Look, if it seems like I'm doing this for revenge, grudge... That's true. I've that urge to just fuck Kims so bad that they will never try to nose into others matters before checking their schedules like they with themselves. So technically whatever I'm doing is right, don't fret how I'll do that. Just chill..." Jungkook said trying to calm his brother but this instead made Jimin gulp in fear.

"Are you crazy? Jungkook you can try your exam next year as well. Take this time to study for it till next year. Whatever you are planning isn't right." Jimin tried to convince him who just muttered no.

"You don't get it brother. Ofcourse I'll try next year, but till then... Kims would be fucked up. I want that." Jungkook said, now he knew he was exaggerating.

"Are you really a psychiatrist?" Jimin asked in disbelief. "Yeah I am, fortunately!" Jungkook giggled when he saw Jimin snorting.

"You are impossible seriously!" Jimin said while slapping his arm.

"That I am, since I'm your brother haha!" Jungkook said with a grin but yelped when he felt Jimin tickling him. They laughed and laughed like they have never done like this since years. Jeon couple who stood outsider their room, smiled bashfully at their happy sons.

This is an assurance that everything indeed will be alright.
