The next day.

"You've gotta be kidding." Lucia groaned as she stood in front of the cafe that towered over her. It was a cafe that specialised in milkshakes and crepes. And lucia was in fact.. lactose intolerant.

"You said you'd make it up to me." Amity grinned at the taller girl who sighed in defeat.

"Yeah yeah, whatever. This better be worth it."

"If it means you get to spend time with the amazing Amity blight, then i'm sure it will be." The mint haired girl said proudly as she dragged the full-of-dread Latina inside.

They stood in front of the counter and rang the little bell that was next to the cash machine. Shortly after the bell jingled a woman with dark blue curly hair came out the back. She wore circular glasses and looked like she hadn't slept in days.

"Lilith?!" The two yelled in unison. They then looked at each other, wondering how the two knew who she was.

"How do you know lilith?" Lucia asked the mint haired girl.

"She was my tutor in high school, if it wasn't for her I wouldn't be going to hexide uni.."

"Well she.. lives with my.. aunt?" Lucia said in confusion. She woman stared at the two of them before opening her mouth to speak, raising her pointer finger while doing so.

"Lucia? I though you were lactose intolerant-" Lilith was cut off by someone shouting.

"Will you guys just hurry up and order! There's a line!" A random guy yelled from behind the two. Lucia snapped her head around to give the guy a cold glare that shut him up quickly. With a smug look she then turned back to Lilith and they ordered their shakes. Lucia settled with a cookies and cream shake, while Plain old Amity stuck to a banana and vanilla shake.

"Didn't know you liked bananas.." lucia smirked at her. Amity blushes and elbowed the taller girls side,

"Don't be an idiot." She mumbled as they scanned the crowded area for empty seats.

Surpisingly, they found a space at an empty booth made for four, since there was no other seats that were free.

"Amity."

The girl replied with a hum and looked up from her phone.

"Is this.. a date?"

"Pschhh whatt? A date? No.."

Lucia narrowed her eyes in suspicion.

"I guess you could call it that.." Amity blushed, hiding her face with a menu. Lucia laughed at the bright red girl. Suddenly, something caught her eye.

The boy she had met in the abandoned park. It appeared that he had noticed her too and he gave her a small wave which lucia returned back to him.

"Who's that?" Amity asked, snapping her head around to see what she was waving at.

"Just some kid I met the other day." Lucia shrugged.

"Oh? He looks pretty young."

"Yeah, I was saying the same thing to him. Turns out he was bumped up a few years in high school and he gets to graduate this year."

"He must be really smart.." Amity mumbled. A spark of jealousy ignited within her. She wasn't moved up in school because of her intelligence. But quickly the feeling of jealousy subsided.

"I think that's our shakes." Lucia said as she noticed Lilith placing them on the counter in to-go cups.

The two girls got up and grabbed their milkshakes, not bothering to stay inside incase they ran into anyone else.
