I didn't drink any alcohol because I had to drive back home, but that didn't stop me from having a good time, despite Hades's displeasure with my presence. I could feel the poison darts he was shooting at me even though I wasn't right next to him, but at the other part of the room.

While dancing with Lara, I felt two hands on my hips and a body pressing against my back, moving in sync with me.

"You are stunning!" The stranger whispered in my ear, but before I could respond, I felt him being pushed away from me, and when I turned, I saw the stranger on the ground and heard Hades snarling menacingly.

"Never put your fucking hands on her again!" He roared dangerously, grabbing the stranger's collar and pulling him towards him with a murderous glare.

"What in the world are you doing?" I screamed as loudly as I could at Hades.

"Milla shut the fuck up! Isn't it obvious that he's trying to fuck you? "He yelled back, not taking his gaze away from the stranger.

"And what exactly is your issue?" I asked, my anxiety growing by the minute.

At that moment, he let go of the stranger and walked slowly in front of me, his gaze sending chills down my spine. He leaned down to my level, his eyes narrowed and his jaw clenched.

He was so close to me that I could feel his warm breath on my face and the smell of alcohol infiltrating my nostrils.

"It means this is what you're looking for!" he hissed through his teeth. "To be fucked! I have no idea why I am surprised! After all, you're just a whore!"

I snorted, ready to curse him, but I was cut off by another deep voice.

"Hades! That's enough!" Stephen snarled at him.

"Shut the fuck up too!" Hades growled, abruptly turning his head to face his brother. "Why did you bring this whore here? Did you think I'd marry her if she just moved her ass in front of me a little?"

"No, dumbass! She's a birthday present from me and Lara to help you unwind a little! Unfortunately, you have no idea how to enjoy a gift!" Stephen replied, staring at him.

"Why her? Anyone else! You could have brought anyone else, but not her, damn it!" Hades yelled again, knocking over all the bottles on the table next to him with one swing of his arm. "You did it on purpose, didn't you? You know how much I have... "He trailed off abruptly, falling to his knees and covering his face with his palms, and by the way, his body was shaking, I realized he was crying, evaporating all the anger I felt until then and being replaced by a deep pity that gripped my heart like a vise.

Lara knelt down next to him and squeezed him tightly in her arms.

"Let's just go upstairs! You must rest!"

Only then did I notice that the music had stopped and that everyone else had gathered around us.

"No!" Hades exclaimed, revealing his face. "I want to go home!" he exclaimed again, tears streaming down his cheeks.

"You're not supposed to drive like this!" Hades' massive body swayed from side to side as Lara helped him up from the floor with difficulty.

"I'll take him!" I added my voice. "I haven't had any alcohol, so I can drive!"

"The last thing I want is for you to drive me home!" Hades spat out the words, giving me a cold stare.

"Stop being stubborn because I'm not going to let you take an Uber home in your current state. I promise I won't eat you, but I can't risk having you raped by the driver when I can rape you instead!" I attempted a joke, but Hades did not laugh, only nodded slightly.
