I had the tattoo appointment the next morning, so after showering, I dressed in jeans and a white tank top, pulled my hair into a messy bun, and applied natural makeup before going down to the kitchen for breakfast, then got in the car and drove to the tattoo parlor.
When I arrived, I went to reception to confirm my presence, then I bought a coffee and went to the back of the building to drink it and smoke. My heart almost stopped when I saw Hades leaning against the wall, smoking and looking at his phone.
"Hello!" I said softly under my breath.
"Hi!" he replied in a thick, husky voice that indicated he hadn't been awake long, glancing at me briefly before returning his gaze to his phone screen.
I also leaned against the wall, not too close to him because his cologne and masculine scent intoxicated me, and then I lit a cigarette, puffing on it eagerly and lightly releasing the smoke.
Hades didn't say anything to me at that point, indicating that he was in the mood to talk only when he was drunk. I noticed him smiling out of the corner of my eye, probably because he was reading or seeing something that amused him. He was stunning when he did it, too bad I couldn't have those dazzling smiles.
"Come upstairs after you finish those!" he finally said, pushing his body off the wall and towards the building's back entrance.
"O-Ok!" I stammered, then inhaled deeply, his seductive aroma filling my nostrils.
I didn't waste time, so I went straight to the tattoo parlor after I finished smoking, where I found Hades preparing his tools.
"You already know the procedure!" he said without looking at me, and I nodded, even though I knew he couldn't see me, and sat on the bed on my stomach after removing my tank top. I closed my eyes and relaxed my body when I heard Hade's footsteps approaching.
"It healed very well!" He grunted more to himself and when the tips of his fingers made contact with my skin to touch the tattoo, I got goosebumps and let out a shuddering sigh.
"Are you going to finish today?" I asked, looking at him and trying to keep my voice in check, which caused him to raise an eyebrow. "I mean, are you going to get the tattoo done today?" When I realized that the question I had asked him had two meanings, I questioned him again.
"Why? Have you had enough of me already, Milla?" He asked, trying to refrain from grinning.
"No, I'm just not sure how much longer I can take the pain. I'm not such a big fan of needles!" I gave him a light response.
"Why did you decide to do it then?" he asked again, raising an eyebrow.
" It's complicated!" I responded in a sad tone, shifting my gaze to the ground.
He stopped insisting but began to draw my back. I was already used to the pain, and it wasn't until Hades said, "We're done, Milla!" that I realized what was going on . Only then I did realize I'd dozed off.
"Oh my God, I fell asleep!" I said, hoarse from sleep. "How long did it take?"
"It's all right! It's been five hours!" he replied, as I widened my eyes in surprise.
"I'm sorry!" I finally whispered, which caused him to raise his eyebrow once more.
"I said it is fine! Now, please stand up and go in front of the mirror and tell me if everything is fine!" He said this while tilting his head toward the massive mirror at the other end of the room.
I slowly rose from the bed, clutching the towel covering my breasts tightly to my chest, and walked in the direction Hades had indicated. When I turned my back on the mirror, my mouth and eyes opened instantly, the words stuck on my tongue.
"It's...perfect!" I whispered, and it was true.
It was even better than I could have imagined. Every line, shadow, feather, and detail appeared to be real. They all seemed to be a part of me.
"I'm at a loss for words, Hades! I can't thank you enough!" I said it again, unable to take my gaze away from the tattoo.
"It suits you, you know?" he said abruptly, and I saw him looking at my face rather than the tattoo, through the mirror.
I cocked my head slightly towards him and looked him in the eyes, puzzled.
"The tattoo suits you!" he exclaimed once more.
" T..Thank you!" I was at a loss for words when I responded. "How much money do I owe you?" I almost drowned under his intense gaze as I asked him.
"You owe me nothing!" he exclaimed, turning away from me and walking towards his tool table.
"No, Hades! I cannot accept that!" You squandered two days with me, and I refuse to pay you!" I said it again and walked over to the bed, where my wallet was, and opened it after dressing my tank top up, but Hades appeared in front of me and stopped me by grabbing my wrist.
"I said it isn't going to cost you anything!" Consider it my apology!" he said, quickly removing his hand from me as if I had electrocuted him.
"Sorry? What for?" I inquired, intrigued.
"Because I called you a whore last night!" he exclaimed, shifting his gaze to the ground and I was amazed that he even remember it.
"Oh! It's…okay!" I started off slowly. "I didn't mind that much! Because of my job, I'm used to being called that!"
"Why are you doing it, Milla?" he asked softly.
I let out a sad laugh.
"Certainly not for fun!" I replied as he cupped my cheek and I immediately surrendered to his touch.
Hades no longer insisted, instead, he stared at me with such intensity that I could feel the temperature of my body rising second by second. He moved his gaze to my lips and moistened his lips, and I was certain he was about to kiss me.
"Do it!" I ordered him in my mind.
He cleared his throat and took his hand away from my face after a few moments, allowing me to miss his touch.
"You should go!" he exclaimed abruptly, turning away and returning to his tool table." You will continue to apply the cream to your tattoo for at least another week! You'll notice that it looks better after it heals properly!"
"I can't do it by myself!" I responded in a sultry voice as I went behind him and touched his back.
He pressed his palms against the table and clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles turned white.
"What do you want from me, Milla?" he growled through his clenched teeth without moving his gaze from the table, his muscles tensed.
" I want you to lock that door, baby!"
