Chapter 1

August 14 20xx

I hadn't slept the night before, I was anticipating my first day at a new school. I knew people wouldn't get super worked up over me being a new student because there would be more but I was still nervous. I jumped out of bed and put on the uniform. The uniform consisted of a plain white butter up shirt with a royal blue skirt and cardigan, the cardigan had the schools logo on one side of it. Along with that i wore the tie which was a purple color, every grade had a different color and mine was purple. I tied a half up half down hairstyles and put a royal blue bow on to match the rest of the outfit. I was ready in less than 30 minutes meaning I still had 45 minutes till school started. I grabbed my luggage and walked downstairs.

"Good morning mom. God morning dad."

"Good morning sweetie! Are you ready for school?" Replied my mother.

"Couldn't feel any worse." I replied with a snarky tone.

"Cheer up! I'm sure it won't be super bad! You could come visit us during the weekend if you'd like."

That's right, one thing I forgot to mention is we had dorms and i was forced to stay in campus. Why is this? I'm not sure but I hated it.

"I will mom, thank you."

I sat down and ate breakfast before my parents drove me over to the school. We arrived and got out of the car and off to the principals office. There were a few students in the halls walking over to the cafeteria, i could feel a few of them staring, their eyes locked on us. There were guards at the door of the principals office who instantly knew who we were and opened the door. We walked in and the principal stood up and bowed down, as did we.

"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Choi. Nice to finally meet some of the few higher up vampires left on earth."

My eyes shot wide open. Is that why the kids we're staring at us? Did everyone else know? How did he even find out? My mother puts her arm around me and pulls me in. She mouths don't worry and introduces me.

"This is Choi Young-mi, she's very please to be here."

The principal looks at me and smiles, "Ms. Choi, hello! We welcome you with open arms, thank you for coming here." He continues "I've heard a lot about you and have made some adjustments in the school for you. And about your secret, don't worry! Only I and trusted individuals know and will make sure it stays secret."

I look down for a second and look back at him. "Thank you sir." I say "I'm excited for my stay here."

His assistant hands me a handbook along with my dorm keys. "You could go get settled down real quick. I'll go get you after your parents are done talking with the principal." She smiled. I look at my parents then the principal. "Thank you." I say and excuse myself out of the room and off to the dorms.

Of course my parents had to have a meeting with the principal. Him knowing what we were was a huge deal and they probably had to do important stuff or whatever. Although I was shocked and in fear at first, I felt calm now. I knew I could trust him and whoever else knew. I had the feeling I could. And just as I was in deep thought about this I bump into someone.

"Ouch!" Yelps a male voice as I fall the the ground. "So sorry about that, I wasn't looking." He held out his hand to help me up.

I stared in awe. He had beautiful fluffy dark brown hair and beautiful brown eyes. He picked me up and handed me the things I dropped. "Sorry again, you must be new here I've never seen you." He continues "Im Kim Taehyung and would love to chat with you but sadly im in a rush to prepare the entrance ceremony." He explains as he looks and points to where he was going.

I stand there looking dumb and not saying a word. He lets out a small chuckle. "Oh, sorry. I um-" I stutter "Im Choi Young-mi nice to meet you. Sorry for wasting your time." I say and he laughs again, this time less awkward. "Nice to meet you too." He says and behind him appears another boy.

"Taehyung let's go they're waiting for us." He says and looks at me "Oh, Hello there. You must be one of the new students. Im Jeon Jungkook and sadly I can't catch your name right now but I'll make sure to look for you later!" He tells me while grabbing Taehyung's arm and pulling him. "Good bye now! Catch you later!" Jungkook says while Taehyung waves at me with a small smile.

That was the most weirdest interaction I've had in my whole life. I ignore it. The Jungkook guy might not even look for me later. Something I've learn these past years is that humans don't really keep their promises. I forget about this interaction and walk over to my dorm. Dorm #222. What a lucky number to have.
