Chapter 2

August 14 20xx

I walked around the second floor of the dorm area.
"219, 220, 221, 222!" Finally i had found my room I pushed the key into the keyhole and unlocked the door. Walking in I got a strong sent of vanilla. The room was huge. It wasn't any just any old dorm room, it was a super nice one. It had two big rooms and a huge living room, an office with two desks. It was amazing. "I think I'll feel right at home!" I thought to myself.

I walked over to the two doors leading into the bedrooms and noticed one was open. I peaked inside it and saw a girl with bleached hair organizing her stuff. I decided I would talk to her later after she was done organizing and went to the other room. I set everything down and plopped on the bed when I heard a knock at the door. I bet my parent are done with their meeting. I walk over and there was the bleached hair girl looking at the assistant. She looked behind. "Hey um Young-mi? They're looking for you." Said the girl and smiled at me. I nodded and smiled back walking over to the assistant and we walked over to the principals office once again.

Upon arriving i saw that my parents and the principal have gotten close.

"Young-mi ! Hello again!" Said the principal. My parents looked over at me and smiled.

"We've got to go now Young-mi but make sure to come and visit us during the weekends." Said my father.

"We'll miss you very much sweetie. You better behave." My mother said as she hugged me.

We said our fair wells and with that they left. The principal started talking, "Young-mi, if you ever feel in danger or in trouble please inform one of us." He told me. "For now let's head over to start the entrance ceremony." With that we walked over to the auditorium.

I sat in the middle row, it was the only place I found an empty seat. Coincidentally, it was next to my roommate. "Hey! You're Young-mi right?" She asked "You're my roommate!"

I laughed "Yup that's me, what's your name?"

"Baek Ji-Yoo!" She excitedly told me "we're going to be amazing friends! I've heard about you from the principal!"

I felt shaken inside at those words. Could she possibly know I'm a vampire and maybe she thinks it's cool but then would hate me for eternity? No, I over think too much. There's no way she knows.

"Well, I'm looking forward to it Ji-Yoo." I say and smile.

We sit in silence for a little and the ceremony starts. They have a whole orchestra playing music. The principal makes an appearance and everyone stands up to clap.

He makes a motion that signals everyone to sit down and get quiet.

"Welcome everyone, new and old student. We are excited to have you all here!"

Everyone starts clapping and settles down again.

The principal continues and gives the typical new school year speech. It was good but covered the main things about the school everyone knows, the obvious. He went over a few activities we would be doing, they were festivals, carnivals, field trips, ect. That sure got me excited but skeptical on whether I should be going. After a few more announcements, around 45 minutes later, he presented the top students of the school and memorable mentions. You guessed it, the top students were of course from my grade.

Top place was Kim Namjoon, second was a girl named Min Ha-Rin and third was one of the guys I bumped into in the hallway, Jeon Jungkook. Yeah, he definitely wasn't going to try and get my name later.

After a few honorable mentions, which included Kim Taehyung, the principal then presented other students. He said they were graduates who could help and guide us through school. And then he presented The Seven. It consisted of seven boys. Why they were called "The Seven" not sure but I know I'll be informed by my roommate. Ji-Yoo gasped and let out a small squeak.

Just then everything went dark and one by one, seven lights appeared and under each of them there was a boy. People started chanting something.

"Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, Jeon Jungkook!"

Everyone was standing up cheering, clapping, and yelling the boys names.

I took a good look at each one of them, and I gotta admit, they're all really good looking. Out of instinct I also started clapping and cheering. The crowed calmed down and sat down after a while. Each of the members welcomed the school and gave a small speech. Everyone went wild over them. I once again recognized Jeon Jungkook and Kim Taehyung. The seven went to sit down and the principal ended the ceremony with wishing everyone luck and the orchestra played again.

We were all dismissed off to the cafeteria or our dorm rooms. It was 11:48 and the next class started at 12:05. Students were chatting in the hallway and what not. Ji-Yoo caught up to me and started walking with me.

"Young-Mi! Can I see your schedule?"

I looked over at her, "My schedule? Oh crap, I left it in the room along with my other stuff."

"It's alright let's go get it, I wanna see if we have any classes together!"

I agreed and we ran over to our dorm room. When we arrived I quickly grabbed my stuff and gave my schedule to Ji-Yoo.

"This is perfect." She said looking at it. "We have all but two clases together!"

I laughed and we went to our class together. "I'll give you a tour during our lunch time so that way you don't get lost." She offered

"Thank you Ji-Yoo," I continued "I really appreciate it."
