Chapter 9

I had been at home for two weeks now and was going back to the school in two days.
It was a new year and I had celebrated it with my family again. I still hadn't told them how I met vampires or my new crush that I had, but did tell them everything else.
I got the courage to tell my parents finally, well my mom. I knew dad would freak out and take me out so I decided to stick to just telling mom.
I told her and her reaction was overly happy to say the least.
She asked me about him, how he acted, how he looked, everything. She was happy I was finally experiencing living like a normal teen.
My last day there my parents told me the usual, don't forget to drink blood and stay in my feet at all times, blah blah blah. I nodded and told them I would be fine for the second half of school.

I was so excited to see everyone again, it felt like years of not seeing them.

I arrived and headed straight to my dorm after meeting with the principal.
To my surprise no one was there. I decided I would walk around the garden then.
As I did I noticed someone, she seemed familiar but I didn't know who. I walked closer to see.
"Yeah I know it's very expensive, also look at this."
It was Hana, and she was with a group of people. One of them really stood out and it was a boy named Chul. A well known trouble maker that could dig up any dirt on you whenever he felt like it. I feared him.

The group stared at Hana in awe as she shoes off her expensive items. I rolled my eyes, I knew she was a gray from the minute I bumped into her.
She turned my way and her smile fainted.
"Youngmi? What are you doing there?" She rolled her eyes at me.
I kept my distance. "Just taking a walk, just got back" i hoped she would just let me go.
"Why don't you come over and check out my new things. Bet you could never have these"
I rolled my eyes, I'm a vampire, a wealthy one at that. I'm 10 times richer than her.
"Well I'm pretty tired so I'll go thanks you though"
I turned around but she grabbed my arm. "No I beg you to stay! Come on don't be lame."
I pulled away. "I dont want to and that's that." I walked away.
Standing up for myself finally was a huge achievement. But actions have consequences. Especially if you're fighting against a popular rich girl. I hoped she wouldn't do anything to me but I think I hoped too much. She had her ways to get back at me and I should've known that.

I walked back to my dorm having enough of everything already. I unlocked the door and when I stepped foot inside there was a party?

"Welcome back!! We missed you!" Yelled JiYoo.
Everyone welcomed me back. We all chatted for some time until we had to go sleep for the next day.

"JiYoo, don't you think you guys did too much? I mean i was only gone for two weeks."
She laughed, "That's true but we all missed you a lot, you're special to us."

My heart warmed up to hear that. I was so happy they really cared for me the way they did.
And as fast as morning rises we fell asleep.
