Chapter 6

I woke up to my alarm ringing 10 minutes before it was supposed to go off. Was I that worried last night that I set it up wrong? At least it wasn't set to where I would be late. I sluggishly got out of bed to get ready.

When I got to class I saw Jungkook, i finally remembered why I had set my alarm a bit earlier. I walked over to Jungkook to as him if was feeling better than the day before.

"Jungkook! Are you feeling better?"

He looked at me wide eyed and smiled after.

"Yeah! Way better thankfully! Thanks for asking."

I smiled and nodded at him. He opened his mouth as if he were going to say something but Ji-Yoo interrupted him.

"Young-mi!! Look at what I brought you!"

She extended her arms and gave me strawberry cookies.

"That's why you went to the store? Thank you!" I smiled and accepted them.

We walked over to are seats as the bell rang and started class. During class I felt eyes on me. I looked around but no one was looking. Maybe I was just nervous. Once class had ended I walked out to my locker to put away the gift, Jungkook followed after me to walk with me to class so I offered him some.

For the rest of the day we were inseparable, it was as if we had magnets that connected to eachother. I was feeling so amazing, it was something so unexplainable. I was so glad I had a friend like him, so glad I was able to fit in. But the stronger the feeling got the more I questioned it. Was it selfish of me too feel this way? Was it selfish that I was around them to not feel lonely? Did it seem that way? I in no way wanted to use these amazing people but it felt like I was. I started feeling guilty but I knew it wasn't that way, I knew I actually wanted them as people in my life. I needed to let go of my past and move forward.
I must've seen as if I was really spaced out in a bad way because Jungkook tapped me to get my attention.

"Oh, sorry just thinking a bit."
"That's fine."
We were watching the game that was going on, admiring how great our team was.
"Number 11 is the best"
I laughed, "Really? I think number 3 is the best"
Then we both laughed and continued watching it. I check the time and realized I had gone a long time with out blood. I sighed and stood up.
"What's wrong? Where are you going?"
"I need to use the restroom really quick don't worry!" I nervously said
"Oh alright"
I ran to the restroom and grabbed a little pouch out and drank it. It's so annoying having to drink this in private, I wish I were human to be able to eat anytime anywhere!
I finished and walked back. On my way there I bumped into someone and made both of us fall.
"Ugh!" The girl screamed
"Oh! I'm so sorry I didn't mean to!" I stood up and held out my hand to help her up
"You stupid blind dumb girl!" She pushed my hand away and stood up. She looked at me.
"Oh, it's you." She paused. "The new girl huh?"
I nodded.
"Aren't you like super close to the top seven? Ugh, probably cause you're new, they always pay the most attention to the new kids." She rolled her eyes. "What's your name again?"
"Youngmi."
"Well Youngmi, next time you're walking watch out where you're going! You're lucky I'm in a good mood cause I would've dragged you out there and made you the ball to play with." she sighed and walked off.
"Young-mi! There you are!" Screamed Jungkook.
I looked over at him and the girl stopped.
"Oh, Hana! Hello!"
Hana. As quick and she could flip her hair, her whole personality changed.
"Ah! Jungkook~ How are you!"
"Good and you!"
"Better now that you asked!"
Jungkook laughed. "Nice, well I'll see you around!" He grabbed my hand and walked back with me to the game. I could sense Hana's wrath when she saw that.

He asked me questions of why I took so long and I explained, I left out the part where I was frightened by Hana. When we were walking up the stairs to our seats, my shoelaces got caught inside a gap and I fell onto Jungkook. We stared at eachother for what felt like forever both of our faces getting redder by the second. Finally I stood up and helped him up and we got to our seats.

The rest of the day went normal and so did the week after. Safe to say I thought it was the end of all the awkwardness and what not but I was truly wrong.
