Chapter 10

Weeks had passed since I came back and we were halfway done with the third quarter. JiYoo had been feeling sick so she stayed home but promised to come later in the day. I told her it was fine but she insisted.
I made my way through the halls getting weird looks from almost everyone. I thought maybe I had something on my face or maybe by outfit looked weird so I ignored it. My heart sunk into my chest as I looked at was on my locker.

"Your secret is out stupid vampire"

Was that blood? I took a step back. Not only was there those words written in blood but also a dead animal hanging from my locker. I started hyperventilating, everything around me started spinning. I looked around and noticed how everyone looked at me in disgust, in disappointment. My own friends looked at me like that. I started to run away, breathing harder every step and the world becoming more and more blurry till I blacked out.

Two weeks before...
Hana and Chul's POV
"That stupid YoungMi! She embarrassed me infront of everyone!" I told Chul.
"Hana calm down its not that deep, no one even paid attention to that nobody."
"You don't understand Chul! They may have not paid attention but it still lowers my popularity!"
Chul sighed, "Dont be stupid Hana, it really doesn't affect you."
"Chul! Can't you just help me out for once! Be on my side for once!"
Chul rolled his eyes. "You never change Hana."
He began to type something out on his laptop.
"What're you doing? Why won't you say anything!"Exclaimed Hana.
Chul pushed his computer to face Hana. "What does this mean?"
"You really are stupid Hana, can't you read?! This right here is all of YoungMi's information. From her address to her origins. Since you feel so horrible and annoyed with what she did why don't you use this."
Hana stared at the screen.
"SHES A WHAT NOW? CHUL! DID YOU READ THE INFORMATION?!"
Chul blankly looked at Hana, he slowly turned his computer around and started reading.
"This can't be true.. I thought they were.. you know, gone for good."
Hana smirked, "Her kind is what destroyed my family years ago! No wonder she has always annoyed me! I knew something was off about her!" She laughed hysterically.
"Hana... I don't think it's a good idea to be using this against her.. I should've read it before showing you..."
"Well the damage had been done Chul! I always knew you'd be useful one day."
"Hana don't do it! I know that this is rich coming from me but seriously!" Chul stood up and walked towards Hana, "Please! Don't do it!"
Hana pushed him, "get out of my face you weirdo! You've always annoyed me as well! Maybe I'll expose both of you! I've had enough of you bossing me around and telling me what to do. You'll never be on my level, get that in your head." She walked out of Chuls room with that.
Chul stayed there in shock, he couldn't believe what was happening and he knew there was no way to stop it.

Over the next two weeks, Hana made plans on how to ruin both of their lives. Finally, she had the best plan and put it into action.

YoungMi POV
As quick as I fell over I had woken up, or at least that's how it felt. The nurse had a gloomy expression while she looked at me.
"Oh darling, you're finally awake."
I stared at her.
"Don't worry you're safe with me, I can't believe what those kids did to you."
Apparently I had been walked over after passing out, no one cared about what happened to me, a vampire.
"The principal has already called your parents they're on their way here."
I was going home. And that was that. I had no say in what did or didn't happen and I knew it.
The nurse finished cleaning me up and there was a knock on the door.
"Come in!"
It was Jimin.
"May I speak alone with her?"
The nurse nodded and walked away.
"So, you're one of me?"
I nodded, not able to look him in the eyes
"Well, that makes a huge difference."
We stayed quiet for a few seconds
"I don't know if you're ever coming back but just incase you don't, I hope we meet again in the future YoungMi. Hopefully in a better place where we're accepted as well."
I started tearing up and sobbing, he comforted me.
"YoungMi, what about Jungkook."
I finally looked Jimin in the eyes.
"I forgot about him, he probably hates me now."
"No he doesn't, I know him! I've been his friend!"
I sighed.
"You should at least say your goodbyes to him, as well as your other friends"
I shook my head.
"I don't think they wanna see me."
We stayed quiet for a bit again. Jimin looked at me, he opened his mouth but the door swung open.
"YoungMi!" Called my mom.
My parents rushed to me and hugged me tight.
"We're so sorry YoungMi"
"It's okay, it's not your fault."
Jimin moved a bit, "I think I should go now, it was nice knowing you YoungMi, I hope to see you again one day." He smiled and walked out.
After waiting the principal came in, we all talked about the situation. Something very private and important was brought up and no one wanted me knowing so I was escorted to my parents car.

I sat there hiding and looking out the window, it was break time because people were swarming out of the building to go out. I slid down in my seat hoping to be hid better. I searched for my friends, well old friends. I didn't see them,  I don't even know why I thought I would see them. My parents finally came to the car and we went home. The ride was one of the most longest rides I've ever had, filled with thoughts about how everything could've been different.
