Chapter 6: Destination Dinohenge

{{POV of Amelia; Till Jason Shows up}}

At BuzzBlast

Amelia arrived at BuzzBlast

She parks her moped and takes off her helmet and moves her hair to the side.

She ran up to Jane and said, "Hi, Jane. How was your weekend?"

Jane says "We had a weekend? I had no idea."

Amelia laughed

Jane says "I was busy working on my new story."

Amelia says "What's it about?"

Jane says "Working too much on weekends."

Amelia says "Sounds relevant. And speaking of stories, I have a great idea for BuzzBlast."

Jane says "Fantastic, Amelia! As long as it's not about some paranormal nonsense."

Amelia says "Uh, well..." and she chuckles.

They walk into the building and Jane says "Morning." to a worker

Jane grabs her clipboard and asks "Did we just have a weekend?"

The worker says "Uh-huh."

Jane says "Before we get to your big idea. We have a new hire and I'm placing him with you."

Amelia says "I don't think that..."

Jane says "Just wait before you say no. Come and meet him first."

Amelia nodded and they walked over to her officer upstairs. There is a man who seemed familiar to Amelia but she tried to remember his name but it wasn't coming to her mind.

Jane says "Meet Mr. Knight. Michael, meet Amelia."

He says "You look familiar. Have we met before?"

Amelia says "I don't think so. I would have remembered you."

Jane says "Now, that you two know each other. I want you two to be partners for stories and investigating stuff together."

Micheal nods and says "No problem."

Amelia was just staring at Michael and looked away when she realized she was staring for too long. 

She says "Sure. I'm sure Mr. Knight and I could find a rhythm for things."

Jane says "Great. Now, let's hear your big idea."

Amelia says "There's an old historic landmark deep in the wood called Dinohenge."

Jane says "Dinohenge? Dinohenge, huh."

Michael says "Actually I heard about that when I was a kid. These landmarks are statues of Dinosaurs."

A girl says "And remember, never eat the gloop." Michael was confused and then remembered that she was filming something

Jane says "It's supposed to be haunted, right? So you are trying to write another article on ghosts."

Amelia says "No. No, no, no, no. Technically, I'm trying to write my first article on ghosts."

Michael smirks and Jane says "Well, for a start, you need special permission to visit that area of the forest."

Amelia says "Oh, I totally got permission." as she has her fingers crossed.

Michael smiles

Jane says "Secondly, as I always say, BuzzBlast isn't about ghosts and sasquatches."

Amelia says "It's about skateboards and singers, fashionable foods, and top-ten travel tips."

Jane says "Don't you have a lip-gloss review due today?"
