After school, I dragged Christopher to my house.

"Mom! Look who I found today!" I yelled. "You're gonna be so excited!" When my mom came out into the foyer, she looked confused before saying,

"Chris! I hardly recognized you." Mom said hugging Chris, who was now taller than her. "When did you move back to New York?"

"I think I've been here for 2 years now." Chris said,

"Somehow he just forgot to say anything." I said, "Crazy right?"

"You know what? Would you and your mother like to stay for dinner?" My mom asked.

"Oh, actually. I live with my dad, he's at work." Chris said then whispered under his breath loud enough for only me to hear, "Like always. Wish he were home more."

"But I'd love to stay for dinner." Christopher said, making sure my mom didn't ask any further questions.

"Great. How about you boys go upstairs and do some homework." Mom said, Chris walked upstairs first, he knew where to go, after all we haven't moved at all. When we got to my room,

"So, Julian huh?" Chris asked. I blushed and looked away,

"Yeah."

"Well, I never saw that coming. Ever." Chris said.

"I know. I wouldn't have ever thought that." I said.

"So, what's changed?" Chris asked me.

"A lot. Since I've seen you in person last, Via's in college now, me and Jack are no longer friends, three people have feelings for me, Summer, Jack, and Julian, going to a different school, but I guess you know that." I said, "I'm bisexual, and I haven't come out to my parents yet. There, you're all caught up."

"That's a lot." Chris said,

"So what's going on with you?" I asked him.

"Well you already know that my parents got divorced. After a nasty custody battle my dad won, and my mom wasn't happy about it. She cut my dad off, therefore having to take me with him. I haven't seen her in years." Chris said. "She's probably moved on, she probably has a new family, maybe she forgot about me."

"Why don't we give her a call." I said, "Mom!"

"Wait, Auggie!" Chris got up and followed me as I ran downstairs.

"Are you still Facebook friends with Lisa?" I asked.

"Of course." My mom said. "You can have my phone Auggie."

"I'm good, I can just find her account then pass my phone to Chris." I said, using my mom's phone to search up Lisa's account. I found her phone number then called her, I put the phone to my ear and heard her pick up.

"Hello?" Lisa's voice came from the other end of the phone.

"Hi Lisa! It's Auggie." I said, "I'm here with Christopher." I paused for a minute and looked at Chris.

"Uhm... your son?" I replied to what Lisa said, she asked who Chris was. It seemed like she immediately realized her mistake and tried to cover it up by sounding excited that I was calling for him to talk to her. I handed Chris the phone, not expecting it to turn out nice.

"Hey mom." Chris said. I could hear in his voice that he wasn't happy. "See you've been up to a lot since you and dad finalized your divorce." I bit my lip awkwardly and turned away.

"Let me guess, you have younger kids? Perhaps a new husband?" Chris asked. "You're pregnant. Oh nice, I already have 2 younger half siblings. Why couldn't you be bothered to perhaps call me? Do my siblings even know I exist?" I heard Lisa on the other end of the phone trying to refute Chris, but he kept going.
