For those who have recently read chapter 13. I intended to release the chapter in June while it was still Pride Month. As you can see, I did not succeed. Auggie came out to his parents in that chapter and I based it off my own coming out experience. Obviously some things were different, my conversation with my parents was way longer and I was crying a lot more than August was, but it all ended in support and acceptance.
That chapter is dedicated to all my Queer folk who may or may not have had that experience coming out. My heart goes out to all of you.
