Izuku POV:
The fight between Katsuki and Katsumi was something to say the least. Katsuki has certainly proven himself in my eyes he is ready for real blades and a real mission after this. The use of his practice blades serrations as an impromptu sword breaker catch was genius. Who knows maybe in the future he can take beast breathing further than its creator.
I stood up calmly and walked out of my waiting room to the hallway to the arena. My next match will be starting soon and it should be fun, me against my sister.
"Next up folks is the first match of the semi finals!" Mic yelled out with excitement.
"This match up pits our other set of twins in Class 1-A," Aizawa said. "Izuku and Izumi Yagi."
I walked out and onto the arena calmly standing where I should, Izumi walked up shortly after me and stood opposite me. "Who would of though two Quirkless kids would be in the semi finals at the UA sports festival," I said calmly.
"Heh, Yeah only you are the only real quirkless out of the two of us," she said looking down. "Sometimes I ponder what my life would be like if my quirk wasn't taken back then."
"I'm sure we still would have trained together as much as we have to get here today," I said.
"I hope so," she said.
"Are you both ready?" Midnight asked us.
"Hai," we both said simultaneously
"Then let the first match of the Semi Finals begin!" she said cracking her whip.
I stood dead still, waiting patiently for my sister to attack. Finally she did "Total Concentration Moon Breathing Full Moon Style Second Form: Rising Moon Transformation." she rushed forward and front flipped into the air with a clear target of chopping my neck with her spear.
With insane speed I drew my blade and raised it to block her attack faster than she could see. Slashing down I forced her spear down to point to the ground and making her land in front of me. She didn't waste time in jumping back to put some more distance between us.
"Moon Breathing Full Moon Style First Form: Full Moon Slashes." She said rushing back in and using her bamboo segment began to spin her spear around to slash at me in a circular motion.
I used my blade to deflect every time it the blade dipped into make contact. After finding an opening I counter attacked. "Sun Breathing Eighth Form: Sunflower Thrust." I said calmly and thrust my blade through Izumi's attack and sliding the bamboo further back on her spears shaft breaking her attack. I decided to go on the offensive now, "Sun Breathing First Form: Enbu Populus." I rushed forward and began slashing downwards at Izumi which she blocked.
I slashed from her left side she blocked, from the right she blocked and from below she blocked. I increased my speed and her response was her next technique, "Moon Breathing Full Moon Style Sixth Form: Full Moon Defense!" She spun her spear from the middle of the spear that and used the whole spear to defend from my slashes.
She kept it up for a good amount of time till she evidently found the time in between my strikes to attack. "Full Moon Style Third Form: Lunar Lily Thrusts!" She yelled while stopping her spear on a dime and thrusting at me aiming at five distinct points. I had just enough time to raise my blade up and block the attacks.
I saw her breathing grow weaker as the attack was halted, "Okay Izumi catch your breath and show me the pinnacle of your style," I said calmly lowering my blade.
