Jirou's POV:
I wheeled Izuku into his homes living room. His Grandma and Yushiro decided it was best for him to rest as much as he can so they ordered him to use a wheel chair for at least two days. Izuku's recovery has gone well thus far and he is now awake enjoying being out of the nurses office. In the living room the other demon slayers as well as some of our classmates and a few of our demon friends were present to celebrate his release.
"Izuku," Izumi ran forward and hugged him. "I'm so happy you're okay."
"Good to see you are still in one piece," Katsuki said approaching.
"We heard about your injury," Tenya said walking forward with the other class mates. "You fought with the same Villain that was at the USJ did you not?" He was still reluctant to believe the story about demons.
"Yes," Izuku said his voice still a tad harsh from the damage his body had sustained. "I fought with the new Lower Moon of Tanjiro's. His blood demon art has seemingly evolved further, he now has some sort of ability to manifest demons from the past." At this the demons who wer present looked up. "The one he had made me fight was the Upper moon of Muzan's time, Doma. Fighting against him and his ice based blood demon art lowered my bodies tempeture weakening my attacks, not that it mattered. If any of you face him don't bother going for the neck of his marianette you will need to to sever a thread of sorts that ties the puppet to the puppeteer."
"He manifested Doma?" Akaza asked coming forward. "That is concerning and for a lower moon to evolve so quickly and make something they've never met is worry some."
"I couldn't agree more." Izuku said.
"What's wrong?" I asked them. "Blood demon arts are all different aren't they."
"Okay, I think I'm picking up on it too." Rengoku said stepping forward. "He didn't just make a doll of Doma, if so it wouldn't have been using Doma's blood demon art."
"Not only that." Izuku said. "The way the doll talked it was like Doma was ripped from the past it didn't know he had died but could recognize that the world around him wasn't his. he was at least somewhat concious."
"This new ability could be a problem in the future." Akaza said. "Imagine if he pulled the past version of me out. Or worse what if he manages to recreate Kokoshibo."
"That was Yoriichi's twin right?" Izumi asked. "The person I am reincarnated from" Akaza nodded.
"Yes," Izuku said. "I will need to prioritize taking out Lower Moon 1 once I am finished recovering."
"That's enough of the depressing talk for now!" I said wheeling Izuku to the table infront of a cake I helped make for him. "Right now I want all of us to go back to celebrating that Izuku is out of the hospital."
"Yeah!" Everyone but Izuku shouted gathering around the table.
"Izuku, my boy we all though it would be best if you cut the cake." Mr. Yagi said handing him a knife.
Izuku grabbed the knife and cut the cake swiftly and we all began to pass it out. "Thank you all for coming out to celebrate my release." He said before taking a bite out of the slice for himself. With his first bite we all celebrated by digging into the cake.
Izuku's POV: Two days later
Jirou was pushing me in the wheel chair to the training room. Izumi, Mikumo, Katsumi, and the other slayers all wanted to show me their progress. Apparently well I was still out in the nurses office, all of them decided to ramp up their training and were excited to show me how much they've grown. Each of them had indeed improved tremendously, howerver only Jirou, Izumi, Mikumo, and Katsumi were able to land attacks on the type zero. All of my students were able to avoid the attacks of type zero.
"Kyoka, my love, and my fine students. You've all grown so much over these past few days, all to cover for my Injury." I said from my wheel chair. "My love please help me stand up, I need to stretch these muscles of mine."
"Right," Jirou said coming over and helping me to my feet. "There you are, just be careful you might still be too weak to practice and train."
"I feel fine just compressed from sitting in the wheel chair." I said stretching and walking over to retrieve my practice blade and my sword attatching them to my belt. "Oh right the other day Aizawa sensei informed me we have a test approaching." I turned around. "I want those of you who still have a quirk focus on using that quirk in tandem with your breathing style. I feel like quirks are the key to keeping you all from needing to use the mark moving forward."
"What is the mark?" Neijire asked from the back of the group.
"Ah yes I forget some of you weren't here all those years ago." I said. "To answer you my birthmark is an example of the mark I speak of. It is what we call the Demon slayers mark, It increases ones power if three conditions are met. However the price to pay for that power is far too steep to pay. For those who unlike me wern't born with the mark their life span is cut down to 25 years. It is for this reason I will not let any of you know the requirments for the mark."
"What?" Katsuki asked. "You know a way for us all to get stronger but won't tell us?"
"Katsuki!" Katsumi hit him on the back of the head, like mother like daughter. "Weren't you paying attention at all the mark demands sacrifice of your life span the only ones who surmount that price are born with the mark."
"Brother is trying to allow us to live on if we can accomplish our mission." Izumi said with Mikumo nodding thoughtfully.
"I most certainly am I despise the death of a human life for admitedly selfish means such as this." I said. "Alas I must also admit that despite my immense strength I too am human and I will not be able to defeat this threat by myself. I am sorry that I must rely on all of you to complete this selfish goal of mine." I bowed respectively to everyone.
"You don't need to be sorry Izu," Jirou said as I stood back up.
"Yeah brother, heck me and Katsumi wouldn't even be in the hero course today if it weren't for you" Izumi said. "Besides this goal is hardly selfish."
"Yeah, we all want to protect people anyway," Kirishima said. "This is just like an added duty on top of being a hero."
"Yeah!" Everyone else shouted in unison.
"Y-You Guys." I said a small tear sliding down my cheek as I smiled. "I thank you all deeply from the bottom of my heart." I wiped away the tears from my eyes. "Okay let's all get to work on combining what you all know about your quirks and applying that to your breathing techniques and vice versa."
"Affirmative!" Everyone shouted.
I had them each leave one by one to go outside and try out what ever they could manage to come up with. We had about a week and a half till the test, I gave them a week to try what they can before coming to me for advice. That means I had a week to get myself back into fightng shape and ready to help them. I decided to set in to a simple regiment to get my muscles back to how they were.
3rd POV:
On the hill used for celebrations on the midoriya estate, stood a man that seemed very familiar with this place. The man wore a bamboo hat that almost looked like a bowl. His hair was an unusual shade of red done up in a big ponytail. He wore a red haori over a pale orange colored nagagi kimono with a black unamori styled hakama as well as zori sandels with red straps and white tabi socks. The man wore a fox mask that covered his face with a sun design up on the forehead. From his ears dangled Hanafuda earrings with depictions of the rising sun on them.
The man watched over the children below as they trained with these odd abilities and tried combining them with breahing styles. "Interesting," he said to himself. "Perhaps that one could use my help. For now however, he needs to loosen up."
