"1 more Queen's Academy! 1 more!"
Loud cheers from the crowd. Yes, one more and we're going to win.
"Chloe! Spike it!"
For sure, tatama yung bola sakin. Papunta sa direction ko.
Run.
Jump.
Spike.
*PAKKK!*
OH MY GOODNESS.
"Queen's Academy! Congratulations! See you in finals!" the judge announced happily
We won! I can't believe it. Atlast, na belong na kami sa Top 5 para sa finals.
"Group hug!"
"Guys! That was totally awesome! Especially thanks to you Chloe!"
"Chloe! Chloe! Chloe!"
Woah, it came from the crowd cheering my name.
"Guys, I can't even do it without you! What's teamwork, right?" masaya kong sabi sa kanila
Nag group hug ulit kami at grabe talaga 'yung mga ngiti ng mga team ko, abot langit kahit malapit na kami matalo kanina buti nalang na ka catch up kami.
Pinatong ng Captain Ball namin ang kanyang kamay sa gitna lahat, sabay sigaw ng "Queeeen's Academy?!"
Sabay sabay rin naming ipinatong yung kamay namin at sumigaw ng "Teeaaam!!"
Nag start na yung closing prayer namin at umuwi na ang mga team mates ko. Ang saya nila, super. Words cannot even describe how happy they are right now.
I was about to leave the gym when Aria approached me "Congrats, Chloe" she said while rolling her eyes heavenwards
I hate that girl.
She's our captain ball. Tall, skinny and blonde hair siya. Well, she's also pretty and rich. Pero sobrang maarte and to be honest, pabebe. Well everyone in this school knows that.
"Oh. Thanks and congrats too" I replied
Plastikan pala ha?
"Gusto tayong kausapin ni coach sa office niya" bulong niya para ako lang ang makarinig and I just nod in response
We reached the sport's office at pumasok na kami ni Aria sa loob. We saw our coach sitting in her chair, smiling.
"Good evening, coach" sabay bati namin sakanya
"Good Evening. Have a sit, girls" she replied. Sa right side ako umupo at sa left side naman si Aria.
"The game was actually great and I'm proud of you, girls" umpisa ni coach
Tiningnan ko si Aria and she's just smiling hearing those words.
"So, finals will start next next week. Well, I changed my mind that this is the right time for Chloe to will take your position as the captain ball of Queen's Academy, Aria" coach continued "And it's it's for the better"
"WHAT!? NO WAY IN HELL COACH! NEVER!" sigaw ni Aria sabay hampas ng kamay niya sa table kaya napa tayo siya.
"Coach, please! No way! Let me speak Tagalog this time, coach, alam ko naman na si Chloe talaga ang gusto mo'ng eh Captain diba? matagal na! Pero coach, please, na distract lang po talaga ako so the game went out like that and—"
"I didn't ask for your explanation, Aria. That's not my problem anymore. You should even thank Chloe because she saved the game. Remember Aria, you broke the record" taray talaga ni coach at napa speechless lang si Aria
"So girls, you may leave" she dismissed "and Chloe, I hope you won't reject this chance again" she smiled
I'm also speachless. I don't know what to say or what. Sabay kami'ng tumayo ni Aria at nag proceed na sa door
"Congrats again" pahabol ni coach
"You can't do this coach" sabay hampas ni Aria ng pintuan
I can't imagine myself replacing Aria's position. I know being the Captain Ball is a hard job to do.
"Sige coach, thank you" I bid my goodbye sabay exit sa office niya
Pfttt, tatawagan ko nalang si manong driver, magpapasundo na ako.

"Oh, you're already there!" auntie welcomed me
"Auntie, you know what!? We won!" sabay kiss ko sa cheeks niya
"Really? So na belong na kayo sa Top 5?" Auntie Cess asked
"Yes auntie!" I replied
"Congrats Chloe! Oh by the way, nag call dito kanina Mom mo but you're not around so I told her na mag call siya later again" sabi ni auntie
"Ahhh sige. Thanks auntie, nasaan si Reg?"
"Reg!! Come down here! The dinner is already served!!!" sigaw ni Auntie kay Reg sa itaas
"OH GOSH. I'M COMING MOM! PLAESE DON'T SHOUT SO FREAKING LOUD!" sigaw pabalik ni Reg
Natawa tuloy ako sa kanila.
"Chloe! Thanks God! Na belong kayo sa Top 5! Congrats!" bati ni Reg sakin tapos nag kiss siya sa cheeks ko
Meet Reg, ang masayahing cousin ko.
"Mom, if you're just there watching their game, you'll be surely amaze sa ginawa ni Chloe" Reg continued "In the first place naman kasi, ang tanga tanga ni Aria! She's the reason kung bakit nag 3rd set pa! She seriously broke the record!" sabay hug niya sakin
Seriously, yes, Aria broke the record. Paano? kasi ang Queen's Academy Volleyball Team palang ang hindi naka-experience na mag play ng 3rd set and 'yung kanina, first time namin 'yun. Nung 1st set palang kasi, palpak na ang mga moves ni Aria sa court and the result? Ayun. Nanalo ang opponent sa 1st set at nakabawi naman kami sa 2nd set. And nag tie ang score, kaya nag 3rd set pa. Na disappoint kami syempre! Pero swerte lang talaga dahil na nakasama parin ang Queen's Academy sa Top 5.
"Hehe. Thanks Reg pero ang higpit higpit na nang hug mo ehh. H-h-hiihind—" at nag let go rin siya sa yakap, grabe! I survived.
"Aww sorry! Hehe. Kain na tayo! Mamaya pa siguro si Thomas"
Ayun, kumain na kami. Sabay kwentohan, tawanan, kwentohan. I seriously thanked them for making me happy without the presence of my mom, dad and sister.
