"Here. Drink this." Renjun handed Gi-ppeum a bottle of water. Gi-ppeum muttered a small thanks and as she was about to grab it, Renjun opens the lid quickly before giving it to her.

"Are you hurt anywhere?" Renjun asked as he takes a look at her. Gi-ppeum felt her cheeks heat up as she avoids his eyes that was laid on her.

Renjun crossed his arms. "Your boyfriend didn't even take you home, at this late?" He scoffed. "What kind of boyfriend does that?"

Gi-ppeum stayed silent for a minute as she watched him. "You knew I was following you guys?" Renjun raised his eyebrows at her. "You think I'm dumb or something? I'm not you."

And he's back. Thought he was being nice to me finally.

Renjun looked around at the convenience store they were at, noticing that it was really getting late. "Let's go. Your Dad must be worried." He says as he picked up his bag, getting up to leave.
Gi-ppeum got up too, getting her things and followed him out.

He walked slightly in front of her silently and Gi-ppeum was just staring at his back, finding ways to say thank you to him. "Uh–Renjun, can we not tell my Dad about what happened? He just, he would get worried and I can't let him—" Gi-ppeum rambled on. Renjun cut her off. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever."

"Thanks anyway." Gi-ppeum thanked him. Renjun faced her. "Starting tomorrow, you'll wait at that convenience store." Renjun pointed at the convenience from afar. "Don't go anywhere else and wait."

Gi-ppeum was confused. "Why?" Renjun rolled his eyes at her as he stayed silent and continued on walking. Gi-ppeum looked at the convenience store from afar for the last time. Why should I wait there? What's wrong with him, really. He's more confusing than girls.

The two arrived at the house without exchanging any words. Before Renjun could open the gate, he faced Gi-ppeum. Gi-ppeum stepped back at the sudden movement. "You're a mess. Are you sure you don't want your Dad to find about what happened?"

"You look like you've been on a cat fight" He sighed. "Fix yourself, at least." Gi-ppeum hurriedly grabs her phone out of her pocket, and stared at her reflection. She was a mess. And she was embarrassed at this point.

She tried to fix her uniform as Renjun sighed in disbelief in front on her. "Hurry. I have to study."
He went on. Renjun glanced if she looked okay enough, but sighed internally as she was still in a mess with her hair.

Renjun leaned in as he fix her hair for her. Renjun thought it was already frustrating enough to watch her take so much time in fixing her self, so he took it upon himself.

Gi-ppeum felt her heart beat so fast that she was worried Renjun could hear it with the close proximity between them. He was fixing her bangs when Renjun leaned away from her. "Let's go in. I'm tired." Gi-ppeum nodded absentmindedly, still in a trance.
