Ever since It  happened. Renjun's been acting weird. And yes, more weird than me. I can't even tell what he's really thinking.

"Yah. Hey. Earth to Gi-ppeum? Are you okay?" Gyuri interrupted Gi-ppeum from zoning out.

"Huh?" Gi-ppeum answered, oblivious that she had been spacing out for long.

"Seriously, I'm getting concerned." Gyuri sighed. "What is wrong with you? Did something happened that I don't know about?"

Gi-ppeum was hesitant to tell her. "Promise you won't shout like crazy if you hear it?" Gyuri scoffed. "Try me."

She took a deep breath. "Renjun he uh—" Gi-ppeum covers her face. "He um—"

Gyuri felt annoyance with her friend building tension. "What? What did he do? Did you do something to him?" Gyuri gasps.

"No! Gyuri, He—" She took a deep breath once again. "He kissed me." She let it out. Almost in a whisper.

Gyuri went silent for a whole minute.

"He what?" Gyuri exclaimed. "Was it like consensual? Did you force him?"

Gi-ppeum was offended. "Girl what? I told you he kissed me," Gyuri calmed down. Soon, a wicked grin spreads across her face. "So, how was it?"

Gi-ppeum's face reddened, more embarrassed now that she's being asked about it. "I mean, it wasn't a normal kiss. It was like—" She touches her lip, remembering that scenario.

Gyuri sent her a nasty look, as she grabs a chair to sit beside her friend who was red as a tomato. "What exactly do you mean by It wasn't a normal kiss?"

Gi-ppeum groaned, "Ugh, nevermind." Gyuri poked her friend's cheek in amusement, "Ah. Why are you being shy?" Gyuri leaned in to whisper, "Was the kiss naughty for you to be acting shy, huh?"

Gi-ppeum covers her face in embarrassment. "Please shut up." Gyuri chuckled, amused.

As Gi-ppeum buried her face on her desk, she heard a commotion outside. Gyuri stood up, trying to see what was happening. "What's gotten them so noisy?" Gyuri wondered. "I'm gonna go see what's going on."

Gi-ppeum was curious too, but she has more things to be frustrated of. Why would he do it? Did the kiss mean something? Was he playing with me? Gi-ppeum let out a frustrated groan as she smacks her head on her desk slowly, trying to get the thoughts go away.

"Your gonna get more dumb if you do that." A voice interrupted her thoughts. She looked up to see Renjun staring at her, in disbelief. "Come out." He muttered, immediately walking away after he said that. Gi-ppeum followed him outside. She heard whispers as she follows him. Not to mention the constant stares she got as she walked behind him.

"Are they together or something?"

"Renjun is pretty stupid for choosing a girl like that."

"What?! Renjun could never!"

"Maybe she's getting dumped the second time"

"Good for her then!"

Gi-ppeum nervously grips the end of her skirt. She didn't like this. She didn't like hearing people talk about Renjun like that.

_

The cold breeze greeted both of them as Gi-ppeum looked around. They were at the rooftop, with Renjun facing  the opposite direction. "Um, why did you bring me here?" Renjun faced her. "Mom's out this weekend she wanted me to tell you. And I need your help later."

"For what?"

"Grocery shopping. She told me to do it before the weekend. Just wait for me after class." Renjun replied, hands on his pockets.

"That's it?" Gi-ppeum asked him, in disbelief. "You brought me here just to say that?"

"You could've just texted me." She added.

Renjun avoided her gaze. "I don't have your number."

"Why? Were you expecting something else?" Renjun added, crossing his arms.

Gi-ppeum nods, averting her gaze. "About the ki—"

"Ah. About that, " Renjun chuckled. "The kiss didn't mean anything."

What?

"Don't make a fuss about it. You were just being stubborn, so I did it." Renjun shrugged. Gi-ppeum was beyond disappointed. She was the only one worrying about what had happened.

"Do you normally kiss people randomly?" Gi-ppeum scoffed, in pure disbelief. She felt anger bubbling up inside her. The fact that he wasn't considering her feelings really hurt her.

"What nonsense are you spitting right now?" Renjun asked in a low voice. "Just forget about it and don't make things awkward. It's that simple." He retorted.

"You're being such a jerk, you know that right?" Gi-ppeum replied. She looked down, finally giving up. "You knew I had feelings for you. And you get my hopes up for no reason and do this."

Gi-ppeum looked at him straight in the eye. "You know what? I regret liking someone like you."

"Nobody asked you to like me." Renjun scoffed. Gi-ppeum felt a pang of pain in her chest as she heard those words come out of his mouth.

Yet, she gave him a broken smile.

"Fuck you."

And with that she left. As well as everything she felt for him.
