Tang's POV
"The thing you need to understand about the old legends is that the story is never finished. There maybe no pages left to turn, but there is always more to the journey." I spoke, uttering the tale of the Demon Bull King to MK. "Rising from the Netherworld, the Demon Bull King attacked. No one could stop him, no one could resist. No one except... the legendary Monkey King."

I went on to describe the battle, a battle so fierce and Intense...it had been...quite the long time...

Perhaps 18 or 20 years? I haven't been keeping track...

Man...MK's all grown up now...it seems like only yesterday that he was an orphan...all alone with only Pigsy and I to care for him...

Now he's an adult, working with Pigsy in the shop and living a life...

And me uttering stories to him about the Monkey King...

How...

Inconvenient...

But to further replicate the persona that my master has given, I suppose that this could do for now...

"The Monkey King used his magical staff to pick up a nearby mountain. He trapped the Demon Bull King underneath it. The Monkey King sealed the mountain with the staff that no other being could wield, trapping the Demon Bull King forever." I narrated, "With the battle won, the Monkey King vanished, never to be seen again. Legend says the staff still lies on top of that mountain, the one thing keeping our world from certain destruction. And with the Demon Bull King gone, civilization was able to advance into the amazing city we now live in. A world of elegant cultures, gentle loving people, a city brimming with five-star cuisine, and all because of the Monkey King." I said ending the story there as dramatic as it was in real life, painting the so-called hero as he was...

"Oh, that's so good! Monkey King's so cool! He's so strong and handsome-" "Oh, MK. And you thought you knew all the Monkey King stories." I informed, cause despite his love for the hero...and him currently ranting on how he knew it all...he was still quite the child... "It's nice to know someone's taking in all these stories. Pearls of wisdom, dripping from my lips." I said, sounding impressed as a teacher...but I cleared my throat, keeping up the act as I did. "Well, you know the deal: one story, one free bowl of Zha jiang mian. Hmm?" I spouted.

"Huh? Oh right, free noodles! Yep, on it. How heavy do you think a mountain is? Compare to like-" MK gets interrupted by Pigsy as we swipes the noodles from him. "Free noodles?!"

"No one gets a free meal at Pigsy's! I'm not running a charity here, Tang!" He scolded, yelling at us as he did. "Ah, but Pigsy. I was paying with wisdom." I corrected, keeping up the persona. "Yeah? Well, wisdom don't pay the rent, you freeloader! And you!" He pointed to MK. "You've been slacking off all morning! I've got a dozen orders that need to go out, so quit slacking and get packing!"

As he was talking to MK, I quickly grabbed the bowl of noodles, eating it as to regain sustenance...

The bowl contained Pigsy's ability when he was Zhu Bajie, no matter how bad his food was he always attracted demons...

Having the power to boost a person's immunity and spiritual power is skillful, fit for a former Celestial...

Suddenly he looked at me and glared...

Welp...

Looks like I'm not getting much noodles today-

Tripitaka's POV
"This way my princess...your husband awaits..." I spoke, trailing her using a cicada, she and a few Bull clones followed me through the paths underneath the city, one long abandoned and prepared to be built upon. "Interesting how you use a Cicada to guide us, voice..." she said, further skeptical of my presence...
