Tripitaka's POV

"I prepared something for you, as you requested..." Princess Iron Fan spoke, days earlier she had prepared a shrine for me to come by, ultimately it was the only way I could get items...damn the rules of the dead...she's been using it to summon me despite not being able to see me or feel my presence...

I certainly could feel the owner of this vial's though...

"I do not understand the reason that you might be needing this. The owner died out years ago..." Princess Iron Fan spoke, motioning to the Bone Vial that she was holding, then offering it to the shrine...ultimately it disappeared the moment it reached my hand... "It's for personal reasons...you have your secrets...I have mine..." I spoke holding the vial in my hands. "I'll be on my leave now...see you soon, my princess"

I can feel her uncertainty growing...she's learning not to trust me...her patience is wearing thin...and Red Son hasn't finished the gauntlet...

What more can I do?

I went over to the apartment...looking over the lifeless puppet at last...

Finally...someone that can reciprocate to my will without the need to constantly be directed...

I grew tired constantly needing to pull him in certain directions, and possessing someone isn't as fun as she made it look like...

Now...

Time to gain sentience Tang...

Tang's POV

...

...

...

Huh?

What?

Welcome to life...Tang Shifu...

Who...?

...

...

...

Master Tripitaka?

Correct...

I woke up...
I woke up...?
Looking around in a daze...
Is...

Is this what having life is like?

Tang...look at me...

...

Why-

Why is my vision so blurry?
What?
I can't see a thing!
Hold on...wear this...

I put on the glasses and look to my creator...I could see! But...

Aren't I...

Supposed to be his corpse?

When the hell did I get bad eyesight?

"M-Master?" I asked, looking at him in confusion once more...it was strange...one minute I was basically a lifeless puppet...the next...

The next I am...a living life form?

"You must be confused...so I'll run you down with an explanation...the Lady Bone Demon had reminiscence of her power scattered across the world, I was able to find one suited to keep you alive...in return the power gave you sentience...you are still my puppet, but you will act as my servant for the rest of your life...until our mission is complete..." he explained to me, I nodded, fixing my hair to see him straight. "Now go...without Zhu Bajie's abilities the Lady Bone Demon will hold you more easily..."

I arrived just in time...Pigsy's shop closes an hour later...

Pigsy...?

No...he's...Zhu Bajie right?...ahem...

H-How do I...?

"Pigsy? Sorry I'm late, I had a few things to run by and-"

...

"Tang..." Pigsy spoke "Uhm..."

...
...
...

"When did you-" "HE'S NOT MINE!" He interrupted, holding a...toddler? In his arms like a baby. The toddler held on to him, "If he's not yours then why is he so calm around you?" I asked skeptical, I mean, judging by the memories I'm collecting at the same time...he seems to be a dad type but...

I didn't mean literally!!!

"Look...I found him outside the shop, he came in all dirty and naked, so I did the most sensible thing and took him in." Pigsy spoke, looking over to the toddler and me at the same time. "Well...should we file a report? Tell someone that they're child is missing?" I asked, sitting down on the counter seat. "Not sure...he was dirty and naked, so...It's either this kid had...an awful home or...his parents don't live in the city..." Pigsy says, honestly that could be true, there's also the fact the parents could be dead, I mean, what kind of orphan that gets kicked out as a toddler is pretty much naked and covered in dirt? The toddler then grabbed Pigsy's face, causing him to yelp. "Ok...Ok kid...what do you want eh?" Pigsy asked with a soft smile and suddenly the child begun to climb into him and on his back, Pigsy panicked as the child pretty much acted like Monkey. I snorted, it was a sight to behold! Pigsy being a parent! "Yeah, yeah laugh all you want you freeloader..." Pigsy insults, to which I started laughing. "Right back at you, Dadsy!" I joked to which the Pig jolted. "I-I'm not-!" He sighed cutting himself off. "But Y'know...it's pretty convenient...he hangs into your back and doesn't fall off..." I remarked...it seemed like a monkey more than anything. "He's been doing that a lot...I'm starting to think the kid is Tarzan..." I snorted once more as Pigsy compared a child to a fictional Disney movie. "Well...what are you gonna call him?" He asked "Or does he already have a name?"

Pigsy thought upon those words, and looked at the child.

"..."

"Qi Xiaotian?" He asked to which I was thrilled at the name. "Together Little Sky...you certainly should be a parent if you're good at naming children..." Tang proposed to which he sighed. "And his nickname will be MK..." I snorted again. "What? Like 'Monkey Kid?'
The Pig looked at me smirking as I laughed, seriously he can be a big softy sometimes. "Alright, I'll let you off with just one free noodles...JUST ONCE!" Pigsy said as I chuckled...
