Two months later
It has been two months since Marceline wrecked the Candy kingdom, and it has since been fully repaired. In this entire time, no one has seen or heard from Marceline. Finn and Jake had lost all respect for her because of what she's done, but Bubblegum didn't. She acted as if she was angry about it, but she couldn't bring herself to be even the least bit angry. Even about the kiss, which she told no one about.
Finally, after the castle was rebuilt, she flew with Lady Rainicorn. She wasn't wearing her usual Royal attire. Instead, she just wore a little pull-over hoodie and a pair of pink jeans, along with her crown still.
"Where are you headed?" Rainicorn asked. (Obviously she asked in Korean, as she always speaks, but I found that translating it will make it easier to understand.)
"...To see Marceline..." Bubblegum replied with a small sigh.
"WHAT!? She nearly killed Jake and Finn!" She yelled, though not straying off course.
"Just...just trust me." Bubblegum replied. "I know what I'm doing."
They arrived at the small house, and Bubblegum hopped off.
"I refuse to be near her." Rainicorn said. "Call for me when this little meeting is over..." And with that she flew off.
Bubblegum walked up to the door, her hand resting on the knob. "You can do this...you just need to talk in and talk to her..." She said. She took a breath, then opened the door quickly.
To her surprise, Marceline stood there, naked, soaking wet from the shower, drinking some red soda. She turned her head to the sound of the door, her eyes widening.
"B-BONNIBEL!" she yelled, covering her body a bit too late. "KNOCK SOMETIMES, DAMMIT!"
Bubblegum stood in shock, not moving, her jaw to the floor.
"SHUT THE DOOR!" Marceline yelled.
She Bubblegum quickly shut the door, pushing her back against it. She felt herself blushing, her mind replaying the memory over and over. As much as she tried to fight it, she couldn't.
"This isn't right!" She said to herself silently. "I'm not a like that...am I?"
A bit after, she moved off the door and turned to face it. As she did, Marceline opened it, only wearing a half-buttoned button up jacket and pairs of tight jeans.
"...What do you want?" She said, refusing to make eye contact with Bubblegum.
"To talk." she replied with a sigh. "About what happened two months ago."
Marceline finally looked up and Bubblegum.
"...Alright." She move out of Bubblegum's way, smiling a bit. "Come on in."
They both sat down on the hard, red couch. Neither seemed to mind it.
"...I don't care much about the castle damages. It was an east fix." Bubblegum said.
"Oh...Then what do you want talk about?" Marceline asked, sipping a bit of her drink.
"...The kiss..." She sad reluctantly.
Marceline let out a small sigh. "I was hoping you forgot." She adjusted her sitting position, then looked to her friend. "Listen, Pb...It was in the heat of the moment. You should know by know I swing both ways, and I was just emotional."
"I get it, it's cool." She replied. "I just want to make sure we're on the same grounds about it."
"What do you mean?" Marceline tilted her head a bit.
