That night
Bubblegum slowly moved into her bed with a relieved sigh, though something still troubled her. She had made amends with Marceline, which was her only goal. But why did she feel empty? She felt as if something was missing, and she had no clue what. She had never felt this way before...it confused her. She didn't like it. She's used to knowing everything, so she was determined to find it out, but after a good night's sleep. She pulled the covers over herself and closed her eyes, slowly drifting to sleep.
A cool wind awoke her. She shot up, looking to her window. In the frame a shadowed figure sat.
"Who's there!?" Bubblegum squealed. Fear shot through her body.
The figure didn't respond, just looking at her. The only thing visible aside from the humanoid body shape was the long hair and glowing red eyes that seemed to stare through her. A smile crept onto the beings lips as it moved from the shadows. As it got closer, the moonlight shone onto it, revealing who it was.
"M-Marceline?" Bubblegum said, confused. What was she doing in her room this late at night?
She didn't respond, just moved closer and closer to Bubblegum slowly. Before long, she was hovering over the bed, right next to Bubblegum, a flirtatious, evil smile on her face.
"Marceline, what are you-" Bubblegum began.
Before she could finish, Marceline had her pinned down by her wrists, their bodies pressed up on one another. Marceline's smile grew as Bubblegum struggled under her, to of no avail. Bubblegum gave up fighting quickly, just looking at her friend.
"What do you want?" She asked, fear ripping through her voice like a disorted dagger.
Marceline didn't reply, just giving a small giggle. She moved her mouth slowly to Bubblegum's neck.
"Oh god!" Bubblegum thought. "Sh-She's gonna kill me!"
Suddenly, she felt the wet warmth of Marceline's tongue carry itself along her neck slowly and gently. She let out a shudder. Something about her tongue was relaxing, almost arousing. Her tongue roamed up and down small sections of her neck. Bubblegum let out a sigh of bliss, relaxing against her friend. As much as she wanted to fight it, she couldn't any longer.
Marceline slowly slid her hands down Bubblegum's arms, moving them around her lower back. Bubblegum relaxed against her even more, moving her arms around Marceline's neck. Her body was warm, comforting and inviting, her tongue relaxing and arousing her in ways she's never felt before. She couldn't help but let out a gentle moan. The things her best friend was doing to her...she loved them. She didn't want her to stop. It was the most amazing sensation she'd ever felt.
After what seemed like an eternity, Marceline slowly pulled away. Bubblegum whimpered.
"Why'd you stop...?" She asked.
Bubblegum couldn't take it. It was wrong. This was her best friend. She knew it was wrong. But she loved it. The thrill of knowing that this isn't supposed to be. The pleasure her friend is giving her. The comfort of being in her arms. The affection she felt. It was just too amazing to fight. She wanted more of it.
Marceline giggled, pressing her head onto Bubblegum's. She finally spoke.
"You taste sweet..." She said. "Like...well...bubblegum..."
Bubblegum blushed, turning her head away, but she couldn't help but smile.
"You're adorable, Bonnie..." Marceline said. "Your cute little smile...The way you blush...your taste...It's all so cute."
Bubblegum didn't reply, just looking away and blushing madly. She didn't want to admit it, but she was loving ever moment of this.
Marceline nibbled gently on her earlobe. Bubblegum giggled at this, her hands moving down to Marcelines sides. She gave up, completely at Marceline's will.
Marceline slowly pulled away, looking at her friend. "I better go..."
"Why?" Bubblegum whimpered. "Stay...please...?"
"I can't...I better leave." She said, breaking apart from Bubblegum
Before another word was said, she flew off into the night, fading away. Bubblegum looked out the window.
"Am...am I..." She stumbled for words. "Am I in love with Marceline!?"
She shot up in the bed, covered in sweat and gasping for air.
"It was..." she began. "It was a dream...?"
It couldn't have been. She looked to her window. It hadn't been opened and was still locked. It was all a dream. She felt her chest, her heart nearly ripping through her body. She wasn't scared...so why was she like this? Could she...no. It wasn't possible.
Well, maybe it was...Maybe she was in love with Marceline.
No matter what, Marceline WAS attractive...Her pale skin. Her long, dark hair. Her perfect body build. Her...well...everything!
She shook off the thought. She called for Peppermint Butler, who arrived within seconds.
"What is it, m'lady?" He asked.
"I'd like...a glass of sugar water, please." She said.
"Anything else?" He asked.
"That will be all."
"Very well, m'lady." he said, running off.
"I just need to think..." She thought aloud. "Yeah...maybe it was just a crazy dream...it had to be..."
Peppermint Butler handed her the water. "Here you are, M'lady. Anything else?"
"That's all. Thanks." She replied.
He ran off, closing the door behind him.
She sipped the water, her heart still racing. She just needed to stop thinking about it. Stop thinking about Marceline. Stop thinking about the way her perfect dark hair rolls down her back. How her tongue would feel across her own neck. How-
"No no no!" She said to herself. "Stop! I can't take it!" She set the water on her nightstand and sighed. She crawled under the covers, pullgin them up to her neck. "Sleep...that's what I need...Sleep."
She closed her eyes, and drfited off into a deep sleep within minutes.
Little did she know of Marceline's feelings for her.
