"Blood moon is coming and the white wolf is still not in my hands. You are all so fucking useless!" The grimmed faced man snarled at the bunch of men around him. They flinched at the tiniest rise of his voice as it echoed at the dark, hollow cave. His unfriendly demeanor is even intensified by his scar that runs on the left of his cheek.

He knew he's got the power over them. He's got the power over any other alphas out there except one - the one who has the white wolf in his custody.

Despite the fading hum of cave from his outrage, he could hear the approaching footsteps at its entrance. He knew who it is. And he could finally settle down. He knew that this man will be the one to fulfill all his plans for him. This man will do the dirty works for him.

"Good thing you're here." He grinned.

The man stood in the dark entry way. His emotionless facade greeted him.

And that moment he felt proud that he's got a son. "You called for me." The young man uttered apathetically.

"Yes." He smirked and walked towards his son. "I know it's been a while since I have seen you-"

"Let's cut the pleasantries and get on with it." The young man said that cut him off.

The other men around them could feel the air getting heavier. And it was wise to decide going out. They knew too well what will happen if ever the young bastard gets furious.

"My my. You have indeed grown. And you are sharp as well. Ravenwoods did very well." He grinned even more added with the thought that he have outwitted Michael. He's got a few aces in his hands and there's no way he'd waste them. He'll lay them carefully and this will be the first of it.

"Drake, son. I am aware that you know exactly why I called you here."

"Is it really the time?" Drake asked.

"Yes." He answered in a straight face.

Drake furrowed his brows and for the first time, he heard himself heaved out a deep breath.

"On the onset of winter equinox, the clans will gather at the Ravenwoods. The white wolf is expected to be there." Drake uttered.

"That's going to be a good opportunity. But the security will be heightened as well. Why not have the white wolf earlier than the gathering?"

"If you do it, there won't be a gathering and besides, the white wolf is with his other half. And he's got the talisman. It's hard to get near him with the curse and the talisman."

"Very well. We'll figure out the details of the attack. In the mean time, do what you must." He smirked. "I trust you."

Drake just stared at the man.

...

I admit I have been very effortless myself. Perhaps this appearance is not enough. I looked at myself at the mirror. Although the shifting had done some changes in my body, I still look skinny and a little awkward.

Maybe a little changes will catch Kendrick's attention.

But I bit myself feeling repulsive with the idea of changing myself just to let him notice me. He's the dominant so he should be the one showing off. And besides, it's not my character to flick around myself just to flirt.

I heard the ping of the oven. Sighing, I left the mirror and and headed towards the kitchen. Passing Kendrick's room, I could hear his breaths as he sleep. He must have been very tired last night. And I wonder where he went off to.

Well at least, the moment he awakens, there's food waiting for him.

I slowly lift the lid and took the lamb meat out of the oven. Just the moment I laid the pan on the table, the familiar tingle around my arms came back along with the luminescent white dots.
