"And that's what happened." Leo sighed as he watched his father delicately mess around with the baby turtles, "I see. I'll sort your brothers out but as of now. Are you alright my son?" Splinter asked, Leo's eyes widened as a small smile appeared on his face, "I'm okay sensei, just a bit sore. I'm more worried about these little guys than anything." Leo gently caressed Donnie's chin, Splinter hummed but nodded, "how are we going to bring them back sensei?" Leo's voice deepened with worry as he glanced up at his hero and idol, the rats' eyes narrowed towards Donatello, knowing that if they were in a situation such as this, Donnie would do anything to fix it, but right now Donnie wasn't exactly here to do that. "I am not sure, we will call April and Casey tomorrow for their guidance, as of now, we must prepare for your brother's beds, would you like them to be in my room or yours?" The rat asked, "mine if that's okay. I just want to make sure they are safe." Leo sighed, Splinter raised a brow and Leo panicked, "n-not that I'm saying they aren't safe with you sensei I just-" Leo strumbled but stopped once Splinter chuckled, "I was only messing with you Leonardo, grab your brothers and take them to your room, I shall collect the crib." Splinter ordered, Leo nodded and picked each of his brothers up. He took them to his room and laid them on his bed, he then began to panic not knowing if he needed to hold their head up or not, just to be sure he laid each one of the baby's heads on his arm whilst they sat up, with three babies resting their body weight on a floating arm made the oldest terrapin's arm ache but he ignored it for the safety of his brothers.
Once splinter arrived with a single crib he laid it down on the floor and began to get to work, "um.. sensei- do I need to hold their heads up?" Leo asked innocently, Splinter inspected each of the babies to guess their age, "no. They seem old enough." Splinter answered, Leo nodded and removed his arm, making all three babies fall back onto their shell's with a surprised squeak, the mattress cushioning their fall, Leo and Splinter laughed.

After getting everything ready the three babies were resting peacefully in the crib, huddled up in a pile, Leo stared down at them in admiration, "sensei.. was it like this when we were all little?" Leo asked, "yes, and when I tried to separate you all, you would either cry or find some other way to get back to each other." Sensei sighed at the longing memory. Leo smiled and glanced down at his brothers once again.
