Chapter Five

A gust of wind blows against Ayato's skin, but he seems to be unphased. The sun has risen, and he is strolling to the city. He groans as he feels the pain of his headache from the previous night's drinking and recalls all the seconds he spent with Thoma.

That young man had gone from the Estate. When Ayato awoke from the same room, he immediately looked for him; Ayato was planning to apologize for the past night — but Ayaka informed him that Thoma have already left to visit the city.

"It's the Kamisato Clan's Head!" " Children in Inazuma City cheered as they saw Kamisato Ayato's familiar presence. He stood out due to his light hair and purple eyes. Everything the young Master has drew attention — then again, he rarely shows himself in public. Just this time, since the Commissioner now has enough time for a leisurely stroll. His work was lighter than usual; he hadn't been busy since Thoma arrived.

"Ayato, my bro!" " A vivid voice called to him from behind him. Arataki Itto waved at him with a big smile as Ayato stopped walking. As a greeting, the youthful Master forms a smile. Itto approaches him and pats his shoulder, saying, "What are you doing here in the city?" Only when wind suddenly blows their hair, Itto flinches and says, "Man, I can't let this breeze ruin my killer hairstyle."

"Am I not allowed to wander around?" he winces as the wind blows their hair back to their place.

"Oh, come on! You certainly can! It's just that I don't see you every day—or even every other day—or even every week here in the city! " Itto says as he tilts his head and places his hands on the back of his head.

"I completely know what you're saying. I rarely visit the city, but this week, I visited this place twice. Lady Yae assisted me with some of my paperwork — so my hands are free."

"The lady with fox ears?" Itto smirks and chuckles. "I've met her before, and when I mentioned you, she referred to you as the sly rascal for some reason... did you do anything terrible to her?"

"No," Ayato responds as they walk slowly around the city. "I wouldn't say Lady Guuji and I don't get along; she's great to our clan. However . . . she, on the other hand, has been calling me a number of horrible terms."

Itto crosses his arms and squints his red-yellow eyes, "So . . . you have more names, bro?"
