Hello, it has been a while, really. I haven't been updating for precisely 171 days, sorry. I'll also try (again, try) to update after this chapter if it goes well.

There could be changes in my writing as it has been a while since I actually finished a chapter, maybe I improved or not, doesn't matter; as long as I deliver it properly.

I don't know if there are even consistent readers, this fiction isn't that well-known anyway haha, however, if you are reading this right now, thank you. I appreciate it.

additionally, I would like to thank a stranger who read this work of mine, you motivated me :)) I hope you're here

Chapter Six

Ayato never returned. Thoma decided to search for him in the forest as he was still waiting, but instead he came across two uniformed ashigaru who he believed to be from the Kamisato Estate. Thoma, who was perplexed, simply nodded and followed them after being informed that the young Head had ordered them to bring him safely back to the Estate.

That day was odd, indeed. But Thoma kept thinking about it, the same as he would think of the night he and Ayato had kissed. He brushed thoughts off by keeping himself busy with his duty on the Estate. While Thoma hasn't seen Ayato much as before, he's been doing extra work to keep the place tidy and pristine.

One day, Thoma would be seen in the city — assisting Inazumans who need a hand. It hasn't been a long time since Thoma got to Inazuma from the tragic crash, but many people have known Thoma as an approachable and responsible young man who could help you. Just the same week, he bumped into Arataki Itto once again and they would exchange greetings before proceeding to their own activities.

"It's all done!" Thoma smiled brightly at the old woman, he helped her clean up the front of her house.

"Oh, thank you. You were a big help, this old hag wouldn't finish this in one day." She sighed and then smiled. The elder reaches for her pockets and reveals a pack of mora, "Here, have this.."

Thoma's eyebrows lifted and he immediately shook his head and hands. "No.. no, no. You don't have to give me that! Consider my help free," He fixes his stance and clears his throat. "I'll see you around, ma'am."

The sun was setting, and he knew he had to go back to the Estate. When he reached the property of the Kamisato Clan, he took a deep breath and entered the headquarters.

It was silent as usual. Other than not seeing the young Master much, he hasn't seen Kamisato Ayaka as well as before. He tilts his head and walks around the headquarters, checking if he's missed any places to clean. Not so surprisingly, he has no work left to do inside. He let out a sigh and left to go to his shed, to finally rest.
