Char heavily stressed by the kids's escape from him, made him start looking for every possible trace behind the missing kids. Most of all he feared the wrath of Aspheera and Pythor.

Pythor reminded Char very much of his twin brother, Polaris. Polaris was a very scary snake he had ever met, and he still gets chills of terror at the memory of the snake.

However, all trace of Polaris was lost. No one knew what happened to him. Ever since he and Aspheera escaped from the Kryptarium thanks to the ninjas, he disappeared. He wasn't even involved in the war with Werath, the Crystal King and his Crystal Council, which Pythor and Aspheera joined.

He just... As if he never existed.

Aspheera was the former empress of Char and the ancient people of Pyro Vipers. Although Aspheera has changed beyond recognition, Char is slightly afraid of her, especially her explosive temperament. Let's not kid ourselves. Char is afraid of the Chumsworth marriage.

The kids, laughing, had already escaped from the city and arrived near the Dark Forest. They were still happy that they managed to escape their guardian.

- I still can't believe that this plan worked! - exclaimed Atlas.

- We wound him up. - said Rose.

- I'm brilliant! - said Lily proudly.

Then Jake stopped and looked at her with furrowed brows. - After all, it was my idea.

- Yeah, and I carried it out. - she replied with a grin.

- Me too!

- Did you!?

Then she and Jake began to push each other playfully, and the others shook their heads at their childish. Then Jake tripped over a root sticking out of the ground and fell to the ground along with Lily, whom he was holding by the shoulders.

- Are you all right? - cried Ophelia as she laughed at their fall.

- No. Who puts roots in the middle of the road!? - Jake complained, as he got up from the ground with a groan.

Everyone laughed at this.

- Mother Nature. - answered Ernest with a giggle.

Then Lily looked ahead and noticed the entrance to the forest. She slightly widened her eyes and smiled. - We are here! Let's go!

Lily moved first with Rose beside her to lead the group. The children slowly approached the forest and started walking along the path leading into the dark forest. After a few seconds on the path, they saw a large wooden gate, which was a barrier against further passage into the forest.

- Mom said that no one had been here for ages and yet someone had built a fence. - Lily said. - She deceived me.
