IN NINJAGO night had fallen. The sky was lit up with millions of stars. However, the city was still bustling with activity, as today marked the end of the year. This year was full of different surprises, the good and the bad ones.
People on the city streets were dressed in various colourful outfits and painted with different types of face paint, actively spending this last day of the year.
Most people celebrated at the central park in Ninjago City. Joyful music played loudly and songs were sung by two big stars, Cyrus.P.Chumsworth and Goldie Afton. Ever since the land of Ninjago united after the final battle against the Crystal King, also known as Werath and his invasion.
The people of the sea, the Merlopians, have increasingly appeared on the surface, the Serpentine have finally reconciled with the humans, and Cole since marrying Queen Vania and becoming King Shintaro, the Shintarians have been loyal allies to the people of Ninjago and Knighton.
And all this has happened in this eleven years. The city has been freed from evil and is full of light.
= FIVE YEARS AGO =
Cyrus appeared on stage, dressed in a black suit and his trademark bowler hat with a silver snake pin. He grabbed the microphone and began to sing, opening the reception.

Then Cyrus and Goldie appear in the midst of the crowd and clash chests. Through the impact, Goldie's bowler hat jumps up and swirls around before landing perfectly back on his head. Suddenly a microphone falls into his hand and he sings. Cyrus sends his friend a wide smile.

They both then leap into the air and land on a concrete fence to which one of the more powerful spotlights was attached. They both grab it from both sides and turn it towards the camera, unknowingly blinding us.
