Polaris returned to the Underground, where there was a wildly joyous, dark atmosphere, the skeletons almost jumping with excitement, the fact that their queen was coming back to life. That their time for revenge on mortals had arrived.
The skeleton of the Red Death was already prepared for the ritual that their queen would perform once she returned, so that she could take her place on the back of the mighty beast.
War machines, ships and cannons were ready for war, on land and sea. Ninjago would inevitably finally meet its awaited end. Polaris watched with pride as his plan that he had been planning for 14 years was already complete.
Polaris heard the neighing of a horse in the distance and the quick clatter of hooves against the stone floor. He looked sideways with a raised eyebrow and saw the Skeleton King on his faithful black, heavily armoured horse. Black Death. The Skeleton King was dressed in his war armour with a samurai helmet on his head and had a black cloak.
- Basilisk, finally you have arrived. The ritual can begin. - said the Skeleton King, stopping his horse close to Serpentine. - Let Nerath return to her rightful place.
Polaris nodded his head. - Indeed, so let's not keep her waiting. - He smiled devilishly. - She had already been silent for too long.
The Skeleton King smiled contentedly. - Indeed. As soon as she returns, we are off to war.
- I'm looking forward to it.
The Skeleton King nodded and quickly became serious. - I hope this ritual of yours works, and that it's not some other trick on your part. You'd better not fool me, Basilisk. You won't always be my boss.
- You'll find out for yourself whether I was telling the truth or not, and I assure you.... I never lie. - said Polaris dryly.
(A/N: Here now everyone is shouting: LIAAAR!!!)
The Black Death snarled and shook his head. The Skeleton King pulled the reins and quickly rode forward. Polaris led him away with his eyes and clicked his tongue.
- It's time to start this helluva show. - He announced to himself and moved ahead.
Skeleton workers, under Garrick's eye, were moving cages of trapped, tired teenagers to a special place in the underground.
