Valentine's Day Chapter

Sara Beth never thought she would enjoy Valentine's Day till she heard a knock at her door causing her to go see who it was. Walking downstairs in her robe, the blonde reached the door with a yawn and opened it. "Emmett." 

"Happy Valentine's Day, beautiful." He says pulling flowers and a teddy bear out. 

"Emmett, you didn't have to do this."

"Well, since we are knowing one another and I happen to like where things are going, I was thinking maybe I can take you on a date." He says. "For Valentine's Day."

Sara Beth smiled as she kissed his cheek. "Sure." She says. "Come on in and let me go get dressed."

Emmett walked into her house as she ran upstairs. If she only knew what she actually meant to him. He heard her talking to herself about how she forgot about what today was and how this was the first time she was spending it with someone. He wondered why, Sara Beth is a beautiful woman, but why didn't anyone want her. 

The thought of someone else having her didn't settle right with her. "Emmett?" He heard and looked down at Sara Beth. "Ready?"

"Sorry, yeah." 

"Where do you want to go?"

"Some place fun." He says. 'I know a few things we can do, but I don't know what you like to do for fun."

"I'll show you."

Sara Beth wasn't joking as they went to the fair and rode the bumper cars that had them laughing. Emmett couldn't believe what his short mate likes doing and was happy to meet someone with so much energy like his. 

The got on the rollercoaster, took silly pictures, but one ride was something the two didn't go near and that was the tunnel of love. They weren't ready for that yet as they were still getting to know each other. "This has been fun."

"It has." He says as they walked to her car. "In my life, people around me never acted like they have fun or want to have fun, but you, you are an amazing woman." He picked her up and sat her on the hood of his Jeep. "Sara Beth Cline, where have you been all my life?'

She smiled as she had her hand on his chest. "A thousand miles away till I decided to leave it all behind." She tells him. "Plus, I should have been asking you, Emmett Cullen."

"Waiting for you."

Emmett leaned in causing Sara Beth to stay still till he kissed her. Her first kiss. Pulling back, Sara Beth and Emmett only had one thing to say. "Wow."
