summary: you and quackity had broken up years ago, but you see a familiar face at twitchcon

your first relationship was messy. not in the normal way of messy, but more of the fact that the both of you had never dated anyone before.

you and quackity had met in high school when the two of you were juniors. he had asked you out at a football game, and your first date was watching a movie.

you went to dances together, and many dates, and by the end of the school year, everyone knew that you and him were meant for each other.

that summer, the two of you had your first fight which ended in breaking up. lots of tears were shed, but the two of you decided to go back to not speaking terms.

you spent your senior year meeting new people and making new friends, and quackity did the same.

you moved away after high school and went to a college where you met all types of new people.

after about two years doing college, you decided to do something fun in your free time. you came up with streaming in your free time, and you absolutely loved it.

you would stream playing games, or just talking about random things, and you gained traction fast. you went from one hundred people watching your stream, to five thousand, to ten, and then to thirty.

it was insane, and you couldn't be more grateful. you continued with college, while also streaming every spare moment you had.

eventually, you decided that you wanted to focus more on your streaming habits right now instead of college, and decided to take a break before your fourth year of college.

it was around that time where you hit one million subscribers on youtube, and were averaging about fifty thousand people per stream. you couldn't believe it.

and then twitchcon was around the corner. you'd never been to anything like that before, but because you were now considered a creator, you decided to go. you were so excited to finally meet all of your fans in real life, and even made a special stream to announce that they could meet you.

it seemed like the day couldn't come fast enough, but pretty soon, it was time to fly out to los angeles. you made it there at about four in the morning, and all you wanted to do was sleep, but of course, your plane had been canceled the day before, so the gad to give you a later flight, and twitchcon was today.

you took an uber from the airport to your hotel, and then immediately to your destination.

when you arrived, you had to get through security, and they gave you your own badge, with your name on it, and then they told you that you could hang out in the creator lounge until your meet and greet.

so that's what you did, you walked through the creator lounge, stopping to talk to other creators as you knew them. you were just about to stop walking and find something to eat, when you saw him.

he hadn't changed at all since you'd seen him last. no, this was the quackity that you knew. you wondered if you should go up to him, when he turned around to look at something.

your eyes locked. you could tell when he finished registering who you were, and you waved.

he smiled, and waved back, and started to walk towards you, leaving his friends confused behind.

you hugged, "hey! how have you been? it's been forever."

he laughed, and god you missed that sound, "hey y/n. i've been good, really good actually. how are you? i'm surprised to see you here."

"i'm great," you smile at him warmly, "i know right? i didn't realize we'd meet."

"it's good to see you, y/n." he told you, putting his hand on your shoulder.

you then realized the time, and you gasped.

"i'm going to be late for my meet and greet, do you want to meet up later?" you asked in a rush.

"yeah, i'd love to. do you still have my number?" you shook your head, and he gave it to you once again.

"it's a date, then?"

"see you then." you smiled.

you had a meet and greet to attend.
