As I observed my surroundings, I realise I'm everywhere. In Earth. In Air. In Water. In Fire.
I'm flowing in the river, streaming along with the fish around me. Until something strikes through me. I looked above and saw a man, taking the fish off his wooden spear. He called out something but it sounds muffled. He walked away, picking up a net full of fish. Then I shifted.
I'm swirling around a large group, carrying some fallen leaves. I see them drinking out of stein glasses. Cheering. Dancing around the fire. Some are drunk, singing songs way off tune. I shifted again.
I'm blazing on the broken up logs. The spears with fish at the end of each sticks hung above me, leaking. I turned around to see a huge buff man, black goatee with a moustache, walking towards a throne made of twigs and branches. I shifted one last time.
I see the same man walking towards me. He doesn't look happy at all. "My Lady, we had a talk. We want to find this Yidsten before we do anything to Camelot." A woman got up, swaying her hips to the man. "How about this? We capture Arthur and his precious knights, being them to the cave, you get your wish so they can see you getting stronger and you can kill them then?" All the men cheered as their leader smiled, marvelling the new plan.
~~~
I opened my eyes in surprise, panting.
I looked at Merlin, and down at our hands.
He saw it too.
He dropped down his jacket, revealing ourselves to everyone.
We sat up straight.
The rain seems to have stopped and the knights shook the rain drops off their shields.
I looked at Arthur, his blue eyes shines through and blonde hair soaked.
My eyes moved to Gwen, her chocolate hair bounces around her hips, losing its curls.
"Arthur, I think we need to start preparing to fight Morgana. It won't be long before she gets here and I think it's best if you and the knights stay on the grounds of the kingdom. So we need to start rationing foods for all grounds."
~~~
As the people of Camelot work together to secure their kingdom, I walked through the grounds, carrying the blankets to take to the infirmary, I observed what people were doing.
One group of people does the weapons, sharpening the tools. One group prepares the armours for those joining the men. One group rations the food.
It's endless.
That's a thing about Camelot.
When it comes to protecting our kingdom, we made sure we did a damn job at it. Caring everyone, including rivals. Fighting by Arthur.
I bumped into Lancelot and Leon, both holding hay for the horses.
I giggled at the sight of their hair, all messed up. They both scowled at their misery. "Don't worry, hopefully you'll get to sort your hair out before the big day."
I walked away, smiling.
I strolled past the blacksmiths, Percival is loving this job, banging the swords with the hammer to make them flatter. I wonder if he will step down and work with them after the battle?
I carried on walking to the hall, passing off the blankets to other women to place on beds, in preparations for the injured.
I see Gaius pacing near the long table and went to check why. "Hey Gaius, is everything ok?"
