Chapter 27

No one's POV

Weiss had stood in a stunned silence after what Sun had just said before he had jumped out the window.

Technoblade looked at the situation before he clapped his hands.

"Aaaaaaalllllright, let's take this time to...well split for a little." Technoblade said as they all went about their own business.

Weiss stood there still as she looked at the ground before she felt a hand on her shoulder as she looked up and saw Jack.

"Come on, let's get some tea." Jack said as he took her hand.

Weiss didn't say a word as she was gently pulled along with him.

They went to Jacks dorm before where he led her to his bed and sat her down.

He walked to a little table where his tea supplies sat.

After preparing the tea, he poured it into two cups before he handed her one before taking his own as he sat next to her.

"Why are you doing this?" She asked after a few moments of silence.

"That shouldn't be a question, I'm doing this because I want to." Jack said as he drank some of his tea.

"B-But I was so horrible." Weiss said as she shook a little.

Jack looked at her before he shook his head.

"Exactly, you feel horrible and that means you regret it, so you know what you must do." Jack said as he stared at his reflection in his tea.

"I must apologize." She said and Jack nodded.

"Exactly."

Weiss looked at her tea before she slowly raised it to her lips and drank some of it.

"It's good." She said and Jack chuckled.

"I am glad you like it, I do enjoy a fine cup of Darjeeling." Jack said before he felt some weight on his shoulder.

He turned gently and saw Weiss resting her head on his shoulder.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome, my fair lady." Jack said.

Buda was walking through the hall when he decided to visit his other teammates.

He walked to their dorm and opened the door when his eyes widened.

Nikola was floating upsidedown and it wasn't just him, everything in the room was weightless and floating in the air.

"Uh...what the heck?" Buda asked as he looked around the room.

Nikola was writing on a blackboard before he turned and saw Buda before smiling.

"Buda! What a pleasant surprise!" Nikola said as he floated over to him.

"Uuuuh, what is going on here?" Buda asked and Nikola grinned like a mad man.

"I just finished the final touches on my anti-gravity system and as you can see, it's working magnificently!" Nikola said as he outstretched his arms gesturing around.

"Can you believe that this is what the wonders of science can accomplish?! It's so so... beautiful!"

Buda shook his head as he chuckled.

"You are truly a mad man, Niko but where are the others?" Buda asked as Nikola took a remote out of his waistcoat pocket and pressed it as the anti-gravity system turned off as Nikola flipped and landed on the ground.

"Oh! They went to go procure some food, I decided to stay back and work so they'll be bringing me back some." Nikola said as he dusted himself off.

"But I digress, as much as I don't like too, science can be put on hold for the moment as I have a prior engagement." Nikola said as he checked the time on his scroll before he walked past Buda.

"Close the door when you leave!" Nikola called as he sped up his pace.

Buda watched him leave before he looked up and saw that on the blackboard was schematics for something but he had no idea what it was.

"Heh."

Buda shook his head and closed the door.

He started walking again before he bumped into Yang.

"Geez, what are you made of?" Yang asked as she rubbed her head.

"Pure muscle." Buda said chuckling.

"And yet all you seem to eat is candy." Yang pointed out before looking at the bag of candy that was in Budas hand.

"Ah, shaddup." Buda said with a small chuckle.

"Can I get some?" Yang asked as she reached for the bag before Buda pulled it away.

"Nope, not a chance." Buda said as he held it close.

"What!?"

"I ain't sharing!" Buda said as he started to take off.

"Hey!" Yang called as she chased after him but a smile was on both their faces.

Technoblade was laying against a tree as he yawned a bit.

"Oh boy, that was something." Ruby said as she plopped down next to him.

"Suuuuuure was, pretty intense but eh."

Ruby looked at him before she noticed his eyes were closed.

She waited for a bit before she thought he was alseep and ran her hand through his hair gently.

"Long pink hair...I swear I've seen it before." She said quietly before she started to play with it a bit.

"And it's soft too."

That's how it went for a bit, just her playing with his hair.

Soon enough she got an idea as she smiled before she started to make his hair making pig tails.

Technoblade had woken up while she was doing this but let her.

'Pig tails for a piglin, heh, I'll fix it later.' He thought while pretending to stay asleep.

'Yup definitely like Tommy.'

Adam was simply laying on his bed as he stared up at the ceiling with an apple in his mouth.

"Hm...I really should call and check on her." Adam said before sitting up and grabbing his scroll.

Looking through his contacts he found the one he was looking for as he smiled.

"...Hello? No no, I'm alright but I was thinking, perhaps it was time you came as well?"

Adam was silent as he listened to the reply before his smile got a little bigger.

"That's great, I can't wait to see you." Adam said before he chuckled.

"Love you too."
