The inspection

It’s been a week since me and Nathaniel tried to help Katilin and she still isn't back and I’m starting to worry Nathaniel and I sit together at breakfast,lunch and dinner and the first thing he always asks is if she’s back yet I alway say no of course. Anyways today is the day of the inspection so all the girls have to wear a grey dress with a white shirt underneath it and black shoes and the boys wear the shirt with trousers,a tie,black shoes and a blazer thing without sleeves
(like this but girls outfit without bag)

I had just finished getting dressed and was about to go into the bathroom when I heard a knock on my door. I was a bit confused on who it could be. No one ever knocks on my door. I walked over to the door and saw a very weak looking Kaitlin and next to her was Natalie “Oh em come in” I say not really sure on what else to say. When they walked in I see kaitlin  limping quite badly, which definitely wasn't there when we tried to help her. “I’m going to leave you to it if that's ok I need to get back to Miss Williams as the inspector is coming soon,” Natalie whispers to me “Ok I’m going to her kate with her cuts and bruises” I whisper back to her as she leaves. Once the door was closed I walked over to Kaitlin “hey em do you want me to clean your cuts for you?” I asked “Yes please” she replied in a croaky voice. I walked to the bathroom and grabbed everything I would need to clean the cuts and bandage them “Ok this might hurt” I warned “I know this isn’t my first time I need to do this after every combat training” she joked. Once all the cuts were clean and had been bandaged up I help her change into the clothes we needed to wear “we’ve got to go or else we are going to miss breakfast” I say looking at the time and seeing it’s seven thirty and breakfast starts at seven thirty five.

We walk to the cafeteria and as soon as we walk in I can see she is really happy. I don't think she’s had a proper meal for a couple of weeks now. She has definitely lost weight and she was already quite skinny before her punishment now she is even skinnier. We walk over to the place where we get food and we both get a slice of toast,a small bowl of cereal and a glass of orange juice. When we walk over to the table I see Nathainl’s eyes light up when he sees his sister. If I'm correct he is five minutes older than katilin. When Katilin puts her food down he jumps up and hugs her “Omg thank god your ok” he says going straight into protective brother mode. “How long was I down there for?”  Katlin questioned us about half way through breakfast. We hadn't been talking to each other for the first half. None of us really knowing what to say “em about…” I pause to think about how long it's been “ Three weeks” Nathanil finished my sentence for me “Oh, it felt like much longer” “Yeah we were really worried” Nathaniel statied “I wa soo lonely at night while you were gone” I joked trying to lighting up the mood “I bet you were you had no one’s ear to chat off” Katlin laughed.

After breakfast everyone had to do something either in their room or help out in some way. Me and Katlin decided we will read on her bed together. We both sat on her bed and started to take it in turns reading the book to each other. We read a chapter then it was the other’s turn. Time flew by. We were on chapter 10 when there was a knock on the door. “I’ll get it” I say as I get up. I saw Miss Williams and this other dude who I assume is the inspector. I stand up straight “hello” I say “Hello Ruby this is John and he is here to inspect your room just to make sure everything is ok” Miss Williams explained I just simply nodded and they walked in. I walked back over to katlin’s bed. Once they inspected our room they left and we continued to read.

It’s a couple days later now and sadly the inspection went well so we’re all still stuck in the crappy place but today is the day that the pink group find’s out who’s ready to move up to the highest group which is the black group…
