Birthday

~1 week later~

Kate's pov

Today is the twins birthday and even though they don't like it that much I wanted to make this one special I mean the last time they celebrated it was for their ninth birthday at the palace we were at we got a cupcake for our birthday and was it plus it's been six years since they got a proper present so a couple days ago when I had a free day and they had classes I asked Jaime to come into town with because he also had nothing on that day. So we went into the town and got the twins presents and we also got Miss Wilson to get us some candles and a lighter (because apparently you have to be sixteen to buy them) for the cake we got them it was a chocolate cake that was decorated as a dinosaur because they both love them

Now I'm setting up the decorations it was just some banners and balloons and a number one and five to make fifteen in the middle with Sam and Jamie's help and it only took us twenty minutes.

It was right now five o'clock and the twins are now just walking up to the room so I went out to greek them "Hi" I say casually "Emh hi. Can we get into our room please? I want my bed" Kate asked "If you close your eyes because I have a surprise for yous both" I tell them "fine whatever" Kate says rolling her eyes I can tell she is upset and just wants to curl up and probably snuggle "Ok close your eyes" I tell them and that was they do. I gide Nathan in then Kate and when there both in and I've hidden I tell them to open their eyes for my spot next to my bed "Surprise!" Me,Sam and Jaime yell once they open them. "what's all of this?" Kate asks "It's a birthday party with the people who love and care for you just like yous used to have" I tell her and she straight away come up to me and hugs me then crys "hey what's wrong?" I ask her "I just wasn't expecting to be able to celebrate like we used to thank you" kate replied "Your welcome now let's get this party started" I say and play some music.

About two hours later it was about seven o'clock when Miss Wilson walked in with some chicken nuggets and chips for our dinner. We asked her if we could have a special dinner tonight for the twins birthday and I remember Kate taking about how much she missed when her and Nathan would just take all the chicken nuggets at any family party or gathering so I thought why not have nuggets and chips "I brought dinner" Miss Wilson says and she walks in a try that have five plates of nuggets and chips on them "FOOD!" I hear Nathan yell and we just all laugh. Kate has been quite quiet but I know today is hard she has a much better bond with her parents than her brother did so. Anyways we all take a plate each and then Miss Wilson walks out and back in with a glass of coke for us all we all say thank you and she leaves probably to get the cake ready.

Once we've all eaten me and Sam take the plates down to the kitchen which isn't that far and we also need to get Miss Wilson to help is with the cake. When we get there We see Miss Wilson ready with the cake that had fithteen candlls on it and the number fithteen in the middle. We walk back up and Sam walks back into the room to turn off the lights then tells us to come in so we light the candles then walked in and everyone (apart from the twins) started to sing happy birthday once we sang the blew the candles out and we all had cake we even gave Miss Wilson a bit because there was only one bit left.

It now nine o'clock and it only me and the twins so I thought now would be a good time to give time there presents. I get up and go to my bed side table as I was on Kate's bed cuddling per usual I get there present it only one each because they opened the rest of them earlier before the other two left "I have one more present for you both" I tell them and go back over to Kates bed and Nathan comes to sit with us I hand them the small boxes and they open them inside was a small necklace that if you took inside the black circle there's a picture Kate's one had a picture of her and her parents were Nathan's one had a picture of him and his brother I give them those ones because I know that's who they had a better bond with. "Omg Robin thank you so much" Kate says jumping on me "Thanks Robin this means a lot" Nathan then says giving me a small hug "Your welcome"

We all settle down for the night whatcing a movie and me and Kate are in our usual spot on her bed with her head laying on my chest soon both the twins fall asleep so I turn off the TV and soon drifted off to sleep as well
