Chapter 19

I had woken to kisses on my cheek. I smiled, opening my eyes slowly. Their laid the man I loved. Way to soon, too. I smiled at him, making him chuckle

"Now your up woman, I've been waiting for you forever" he said, making me sit up.

"Well let's go then, let's go down stairs" I said, standing up and grabbing my crossbow and lets. Daryl followed me, closely.

"What are we doing today?" He asked, walking down the stairs beside me. I shrugged

"On a run, maybe... We might need things" I said. He nodded.

"We need people to go on a run" Rick said as we sat down. I sent Daryl a look, smirking. He rolled his eyes, grinning.

"Know it all" he said, nudging me. I rolled my eyes.

*Carl's p.o.v*
I sat in the tower, looking at the outskirts of the prison gates. I saw movement so I pulled out my telescope and looked through it. A figure, walking toward the gates. I got my gun and ran down the stairs and out the door. I ran to the gates to see a girl, she was about my age. She had blondish brown hair, a bit red in there.

"Drop your weapons!" I shouted, aiming at her. She dropped her gun and knife, stepping away from there. Glenn and Maggie appeared beside me, magic opened the door and Glenn went to grab her and her weapons, dragging her in and shutting the door before walkers got closer. She locked it. They left, taking the girl to my father. I stood by the gates, waiting for Daryl and Nicki to be back. They left early this morning and were supposed to be bac-

HONK!

I turned to see Daryl's truck, driving to the gates. I opened the gates and let them in. I shut the door and locked it, following them up the road and into the prison.

"Where's the girl?" I asked my dad. He looked at me

"Passed out as soon as Glenn and Maggie brought her in" he said, rubbing his temples, giving me a weak smile before walking away. Passed out.

"Brought food for Judith, and found lots of food in a couple houses, seems like nobody was there in forever"

"It has been 5 years Daryl" Nicki said, sassily. I chuckled, earning a glare from him. I rolled my eyes

"We found someone new" I said.

"Who?"

"We dont know, she passed out before we could ask her anything" Rick said, standing beside Hershel.

"I'll talk to her when she wakes up so she doesn't freak out when she finds men around her" Nicky said. Dad nodded, agreeing with her.

*Nicky's p.o.v*
"She's up" Maggie said. I nodded, giving Daryl one last kiss and went to the girl's cell. I knocked, walking in and seeing her cuffed to the bunk bed. I rolled my eyes, scoffing

"Don't men know not to tie up women! It's sexist!" I snapped to myself, grabbing the keys Rick gave me and Uncuffed her. She rubbed her wrist, staring at me.

"What's your name?" I asked

"Madison Rausch" she said, I nodded.

"I'm Nicky Greene, how old are you?" I asked

"14 years old"

"I'm 19" I said. She nodded

"I have to ask you three questions, you have to be honest with me if you wanna stay with us" I told her. She nodded

"How many walkers have you killed?" I asked. She looked at me confused

"Walkers? Those freaks" she said. I nodded

"I don't know, to many to count"

"Have you ever killed anyone, and why?" I asked. She looked down and sighed

"I killed one person, if I hadn't then I'd be dead right now... He was trying to hurt me" she said. I have her a sympathy look.

"It's ok, everyone has to do something to survive" I told her. She gave me a smile and looked at her hands

"Let's go meet the rest of the group" I said standing up. She got up and we walked out. We walked to the cell block where everyone was. Daryl was talking to Glenn and Maggie.

"Madison, this is Rick. Our leader and our sheriff, his son Carl and his daughter Judith. That's my daddy Hershel, my twin sister beth, my older sister Maggie, her husband, that's Daryl, he's mine, that's carol" I said. Madison waved slightly

"You ask her the questions?" Rick said. I nodded

"Good, tell me later" I nodded.

"Come sit down" I said, leading her to beth and daddy. She sat down and beth began to talk to her. I went to sit beside Daryl. He gave me a kiss on the cheek, smiling slightly

"Well hello" he whispered in my ear, giving me shivers. He smirked, snaking his arms around my waist.

"I make you shiver, I make you nervous" he whispered in my ear. I shivered again, blushing.

"D-Daryl!" I whispered, covering my ear with my shoulder.

"Let's go keep watch Nicky" Daryl said out loud, standing up and grabbing my hand.

"There's condoms in the tower so be prepared" Glenn said

"Shut up Glenn if you want to live" I hissed, making his eyes widen. I gave him a wicked grin before walking out with Daryl. We walked to the tower, the ground was covered in blankets, pillows and a few other things. I blushed, seeing those.

"This our date" he whispered, grabbing my hands and pulling me against him.

"Really?" I whispered, looking at him. He nodded, smiling.

"Yes" he whispered. He laid me down and grabbed the food. Stale chips, very stale candy and wine/alcohol. I smiled, kissing him. He kissed back, pulling me against him.
