PART FOURTEEN - Familiar Unknown

TAEHYUNG'S PERSPECTIVE

I feel like i have seen this Lucas somewhere but not sure. I have a familiar feeling that i know him but why can't i recall ? Gosh i don't think i have Amnesia

"Lucas this is Taehyung my bestest friend and taehyung this is Lucas one of my past old friends " Y/n mouthed me as her best friend what else i need. Best friends to lovers concept is aware to all .

"Hey Taehyung..nice to meet you"
"Nice to meet you too Lucas " i said with cold expression as i really don't feel like smiling after seeing him all of a sudden.

"Actually he was having his mother's cancer treatment here and bymistakely he entered my room and from then we're talking. Its been really long" y/n said but now all i can do is nod my head.

"Sit here why are you standing " she said , more like whinned and ultimately made me sit beside her as the chair was occupied by that Lucas. "Y/n you remember that day when i took detention with you knowingly so that we can have fun?" lucas mouthed and she just remembered and then nodded.

"Yeah and then our teacher caught us sneaking and we got more longer detention" she said while i smiled at her but she wasn't giving any attention to me. Why do i feel like a third wheel here ? Should i just leave? No what if they become close? I will handle some of the files on the mean time.

Its been more than 30 minutes and this lucas wasn't getting his ass up and leaving the room and my y/n alone. And I'm kinda angry on her too as she didn't even spoke a word with me after the introduction. They are just digging their funniest past activities.

But what if y/n doesn't make it up with me and rather the distancing starts ? I couldn't bear that for sure . Argh idk what to actually do now. I will sit and will give her some cold replies to let her know im angry on her.

"Okay y/n i think my mom will be needing me as i had some talk with her doctor. I will be leaving now but as i know you're in this hospital we will meet often and spend time okay ? Its really been long"  Lucas said while I was grinding my teeth beneath , controlling myself just for the sake of y/n.

After he left y/n finally came to know that someone named taehyung exists. "Why are you on the phone " she asked me as i didn't looked at her but mouthed "what should i do instead when u are only talking with him and forgetting about me?"

I said hoping that she will really make it up to me. "I-  we met after long years so-"  she tried explaining but i had to cut her off. "I got it" i said still not looking at her but all she did was snatch my phone from me and closing it she kept it aside and made me face her by cupping my face.

"Im sorry... I shouldn't have made you feel left out.. won't you forgive me?" She said and asked me while all i let out was a "hmm" and tried to look anywhere but her.  She kept on pouting while i stood up saying "i have some meetings to attend , if u feel bored call your lucas and talk with him" i said before grabbing my phone and leave her room immediately.

Her face was worth it. She was looking so guilty. I actually didn't mean to upset her but i wanted to know if i hold some value in her life or not. If she doesn't make it up then i will simply know she never cared. And then i will have only one way left.

I stayed with jungkook and described him everything. "Aish don't worry hyung if she said you're her best friend the she would surely make efforts. She won't give up this easily she's stubborn enough we both know that" he said as i nodded knowing jungkook has a point.

After saying that i thought to give my company a visit its been nearly about a month

(Sorry i forgot to mention that there are many time skips in Between and its been a month since the accident , i apologize)
