A moment of silence stood between the two young na'vis.

"Neteyam...You've already reached me," Newea began to say.

Suddenly, Ronal walked into the pod. Neteyam quickly moved away as Newea pretended to put something away. Ronal looked around suspiciously.

"Hello mother. Neteyam was hurt so I was tending to him," she explained. Ronal eyed her daughter as Newea avoided her gaze.

"Just get me the ointment for cuts," she replied. Newea reached for the jar and handed it to her mother.

"Now that he's patched up go and do something," she pushed her daughter out of the pod.

"Yes mother," Newea replied gloomily.

Newea then walked around the village and made her way to her ilu. She took a swim and collected some shells. She decided to make necklaces and bracelets for Kiri and Tuk.

Once she had collected a variety of shells she went to her pod and brought out her jewelry making collection. She then added the new shells she found to the box.

She happily made the jewelry. It was one of the few passive hobbies Newea enjoyed. One that wasn't reckless or harmful.

Once she was finished she set out to look for Tuk and Kiri. She walked around the village and found Tuk with Neytiri in their pod. Neteyam was also there.

"Here Tuk I made something for you," Newea said. She handed Tuk one bracelet and one necklace. Tuk took it with excitement.

"Wow! It's so pretty!" she exclaimed.

Newea smiled brightly in return.

"Mommy can you put it one me, please?" she handed the necklace to her mom who smiled as well.

"Of course Tuk. But what do you say to Newea?" she asked.

"Thank you Newea!" Tuk brightly said.

"No problem Tuk," she replied. Neteyam was smiling at the sight of his little sister beaming with joy.

"Also I made some for Kiri. Do you happen to know where she is?" Newea asked.

"She just went out. She may be on the beach," Neytiri answered.

"Okay. Thank you," she replied then left.

She walked onto the beach calling for Kiri. She then found Kiri staring at sand again.

"Kiri," she called. Kiri looked up in response.

"Oh Newea!" she smiled.

"Here I made these for you," the Metkayina girl gave her Omatikaya friend a necklace and a bracelet.

"Wow they're gorgeous," Kiri remarked.

"I'm glad you like it," she replied.

"Also was I doing that thing again? Where I stare at the sand?" she asked.

Newea nodded in response. Kiri let out a deep sigh.

"I wish I was normal," she remarked.

"Hey! Just because my brother called you a freak does not mean it's true," Newea explained.

"I know but...you know I'm actually adopted. My real mom was a scientist," she explained. Newea's eyes widened.

"I'm adopted too," she smiled.

"Really?" Kiri asked curiously.

"Yeah. But my current parents are biologically my aunt and uncle. Ronal's sister was my mom," Newea explained.
