A hattrick and the match ball seemed to set Amelia's confidence up nicely heading into training before the Manchester United game. And to lie saying Amelia felt fine ahead of this game, which she never. It was the girls first time back at Old Trafford since going out on loan.

Getting more game time, an international call up, goals, assists and so much more has been the best thing to happen to Amelia since she joined Chelsea. Not to mention, she finally felt comfortable within a squad.

The full week of training before the team travelled up to Manchester where they stayed in a nearby hotel overnight. The whole night was stressful for Amelia as she pictured to possible situations of tomorrow's game and what could happen when she runs into not only her former teammates but her ex-boyfriend and ex-manager.

"Lia, I can tell something is bugging you. What's up?" César asks as he sits beside the girl in the lounge while the others play 8-ball pool. "I'm just thinking about tomorrow and what it's going to be like seeing my former teammates, ex-manager and ex-boyfriend for the first time since coming to Chelsea." Amelia admits. "And your nervous about it." the captain says, keepimg his attention to the girl. "Mhm. Plus, there were some United players that just never took to me and gave me a chance to work alongside them. Rarely gave me the ball or a chance to shoot. I just can't imagine what they'll do if I start." Amelia says, looking at the spanish player beside her. "Listen, Amelia. Don't worry about them. Show them all what you can do out there. Prove to them what a mistake they've made not letting you play game in, game out. You are a talent and a great player for chelsea. Just ignore any comments that are made which are aimed to knock your confidence by any of the united fans, play or staff." César tells the brunette girl.

"Thanks Azpi. Always knowing how to make everyone feel better when they feel shit." Amelia laughs. The captain laughs as well before gently hugging the girl. "Don't worry about tomorrow. You're going to be brilliant tomorrow. You're going to score atleast one goal tomorrow to put Ten Hag in his place." César says to Amelia and she nods.

"Yeah. Manchester United are going to get what's coming to them. They're going to that and so much more." Amelia says before heading up to her hotel room. Kai decided to stay in the room after feeling a bit unwell. Before heading up to her bedroom, Amelia decided to get a bottle of water and a bit of food for Kai as he hadn't eaten since they arrived at the hotel.

With some water, a wrapped burger and friena in her hand, Amelia gets back to her room. She walks in and immediately spots Kai asleep on the bed. "Kai, babe. I got you some food. Can you try and have  something to eat." Amelia gently shakes the german's shoulder. "Thank you." Kai mutters before sitting up and leaning against the headboard. "How are you feeling?" Amelia asks as she moves so of Kai's hair out of his face and gently placing her hand on his forehead. "A bit better. Hopefully I'll be okay for the game." Kai says as Amelia moves her hand from his forehead. "You're a tad bit warm. I think I have some paracetamol in my bag. Have some and get some rest then surely you'll be better by the morning. And I'm staying in here for the rest of the night now." Amelia smiles.

Kai eats the food Amelia brought him as the girl changes into her pajamas. "Get here, gorgeous." Kai says as he places his rubbish in the bin beside the bed before grabbing Amelia's hand. "You know, you just being here makes me feel so much better already." Kai smiles as he pulls his girlfriend onto his lap. "Get some rest, love. We have a game to win tomorrow." Amelia smiles as she places a soft kiss on Kai's lips before getting off his lap and laying beside him.

It wasn't long after she laid beside the german, Kai fell back to sleep as he laid on the brits chest. Amelia wraps both her arms around the ill boy's upper back. As silence filled the room, worrying thoughts began filling Amelia's head again. No matter how hard she tried to think about what Azpi said, the girl couldn't stop thinking about the game and her reuniting with her told teammates and staff.
