Chapter 9: Dark Side of The Job

At a research facility in Russia, Katyusha remained as depressed as ever due to the tragic deaths of white lion demi-human children, while Dr. Lyubimova became more and more crazy and excited with her crazy experiments.

"Katyusha! Show me the next object's profile!"

Upon orders from Dr. Lyubimova, Katyusha walked quietly like a soulless person to the table on which were files of white lion demi-human objects. She took the file of the next white lion demi-human and proceeded to give it to Dr. Lyubimova.

"Good lord! You need to rest, Katyusha! Even Lenin's corpse looks more flesh than you!"

"I'm fine...Doc..."

"Are you sure? You sound like my grandma on her last day!"

"I said I'm fine..."

"Hmmmmm... Well, if something bad happens, don't blame me for not informing you."

Having said that, Dr. Lyubimova opened the file of the next white lion demi-human child. Object: #0014, name: Leonid Lvovich Leonov, age: 15, sex: male.

"Hey! Guards! Release Object #0014 into the room! And then release Andrei Chernetsky into the room!"

"Yes ma'am!"

Soldiers obeyed Dr. Lyubimova and they immediately went to Leonid and Andrei's cell to escort them to the room.

After a few minutes of waiting, the guards successfully escorted Leonid and Andrei into the room, and they left, leaving them alone in the room.

"Attention! This is the 14th experiment of the Winter's Pride Project. In this experiment, Object #0014, Leonid, your mission is to inflict injury on the death row inmate on the side of the room. However, he won't stand still to take your hit and will attack you and you may die. But don't worry you've been injected with Syvorotka serum! The finest serum in the world! Good luck, kiddo! Make mommy proud!"

"Mommy...? Gross..."

Katyusha said in a depressed voice, Dr. Lyubimova also did not pay much attention to what she said.

As Dr. Lyubimova informed Leonid through the loudspeaker in the room, a bell rang, signaling the start of experiment #14 of the Winter's Pride Project.

"Haizz, I have to commit child slaughtering again? Don't move, kid. I will free you from this hellhole quickly."

Andrei said in a voice full of fatigue from repeating the same story 13 times, and he was going to repeat it for the 14th time. He then yawned and slowly moved towards Leonid. Leonid was the oldest of the kidnapped white lion demi-human children. He was also the only one who knew the plot of the experiments in the first place, but would he survive?

After Andrei had completely successfully approached Leonid, Leonid still didn't show any emotion or act as if he knew that even if he knew the plot of the experiments in the first place, he still wouldn't be able to escape, so he stood still and accepted death.

Immediately afterwards, Andrei raised his right arm high in preparation for the free he had told Leonid earlier.

"Once you've escaped this hellhole, send my apologies to those other white lions I killed a few days ago."

And then, Andrei clenched his right hand into a fist and slammed it down on Leonid. Unexpectedly, his fist slammed into the floor instead. Since the room was designed to withstand nuclear weapons, it was hard to be destroyed, causing Andrei to break his right hand and bleed.
