Under the red color of the emergency lights and the noisy sound of the alarm bells, Markus and Jarmo were enjoying their massacre of the Russian soldiers. Jarmo used a Suontaka sword and Markus used his favorite weapons and icon weapons, guns.

Despite using a sword, Jarmo was a skilled swordsman so he easily cut flying bullets in half. Markus was a talented marksman plus he used bouncing bullets so he could easily shoot at the wall, floor and ceiling so that bullets bounced towards the enemy, thus hitting every shot.

After many slashes and many reloads, the hallway where they stood was dyed with blood. Jarmo then breathed a sigh of relief.

"Phew! We cleared them!"

"No, I believe there will be more groups. We should focus on rescuing Botan, not killing these ephemera."

"Well, they kept getting in our way so we had to fight back."

"Good point."

Suddenly, another group of soldiers came.

"Ah shit, here we go again."

Markus and Jarmo then continued to fight the enemy soldiers.

Meanwhile...

Botan was running in the base to find the exit. There was a group of soldiers sent to stop her but they all were slaughtered by Botan. The serum really turned Botan into a monster.

Botan continued to find the exit. Suddenly, a pretty tall and muscular man got in her way. The man wore an inmate suit and a tech collar around his neck. The man's appearance reminded her of Andrei but he wasn't Andrei.

Suddenly, the tech collar fell off his neck and hit the floor and cracked it, it seemed the collar was very heavy. After that, the prisoner turned his neck back and forth, he had to be very satisfied that he didn't have to wear that heavy collar anymore.

Taking the opportunity that the prisoner was busy turning his neck, Botan quickly rushed forward and threw his claws at the prisoner's neck. Suddenly, the prisoner pointed at Botan and she stopped in midair.

"Eh?!?!"

Botan looked surprised. She tried to move her arms and legs but couldn't, her body was completely motionless except for her facial muscles. The prisoner then pointed at the wall on the left and Botan was thrown into the wall on the left by an invisible person. The prisoner then pointed at the wall to the right and Botan was thrown into the wall to the right by an invisible person. The prisoner then pointed at the ceiling and Botan was thrown into the ceiling by an invisible person. Finally, that prisoner then pointed at the floor and Botan was thrown into the floor by an invisible person.

Despite being seriously injured after being thrown back and forth by an invisible force, Botan was at least able to move his arms and legs.

"How is it, Object #0041? Do you like your friend?"

Dr. Lyubimova said maliciously as she approached Botan from behind.

"Meet Vladislav Daniilovich Korotkov a.k.a Object #0087 of Project: Veteran. You can call him Vlad. He's the 87th experimental object of Project: Veteran where we turn veteran soldiers into superhumans. He's an experimental object just like you and he can manipulate invisible force to attack and defend. That's why I decided to release him from the tech collar to stop you because the tech collar is a device that can nullify any kind of non-physical superpowers!"

"Grrrrr..."

Botan growled angrily as he glared at Dr. Lyubimova. You can see tears in the corners of her eyes.

"And now..."

Dr. Lyubimova took out a syringe from her blouse.

"I will put you to sleep~"
