THE SOUND OF A HORN RANG THROUGHOUT THE VILLAGE, PEOPLE HAD ARRIVED. Vale'wuri and Tsireya watched as ikrans flew around, finally landing on the sandy patch of land by the water.
The Na'vi who had arrived were of a much deeper blue than them, and their animals travelled by sky instead of sea. "Come on Vale," Tsireya called pulling her bestfriend through the water and onto her ilu.
Ao'nung and his friend Rotxo approached the family. Their sight set on the two teenage boys with them. "Look at that thing, is that supposed to be a tail?" Neteyam and Lo'ak signalled "I see you," to show that they meant no harm.

The metkayina laughed at the boys' remark, Neteyam and Lo'ak looked out into the water. The two female Na'vi drove off their ilus and walked out of the water and walked over to them, as Vale'wuri flipped the hair off her shoulders.
Lo'ak quickly looked down, a knowing look on his brother's face. "It's too small. How are they supposed to swim?" Rotxo continued to insult their tails. "Stop that Ao'nung, Rotxo." Vale'wuri scolded swatting at his hand.
"Hey." The younger Sully son greeted, tilting his head up a little. Vale'wuri just covered her mouth in a slight giggle. A sour expression came onto Rotxo's face seeing the way his soon-to-be mate reacted to the other boy's greeting.
Soon enough the clan's leader Tonowari appeared on his skimwing, letting out yips to his warriors. The leader exited the water, nearing Jake and his family.
Tonwari was the cheif of the Metkayina, the reef people.
"I see you," the leaders greeted each other. "Jake sully."
I knew he was a tough leader, but it wasn't Tonowari I was worried about.
The rest of the family greets the metkayina's clan leader. His wife Ronal making her way through the crowd. "Why do you come to us, Jake sully?" Jake looks back at his family. "We seek Ukturu." Opening his arms.
"Ukturu?" Ronal asked, astonished. "A sanctuary for my family." The tsahik left her mate's side, nearing the jungle Na'vi. "We are reef people and you're forest people. Your skills will mean nothing here."
"We'll learn your ways, alright?"
"Yes." Ronal grabs at Neytiri's tail, then grabbed Tuk's arm. "Their arms are thin, tails are weak." Grabbing Kiri's only to be shooed away. "You'll be slow in the water, these children are not even pure Na'vi."
Holding up their four fingered hands up for the reef clan to see, gasps coming from them. "Yes, yes we are." Kiri argued back, snatching her hands away. "They have demon blood!" Showing Lo'aks hand. More gasps came from the people, some even taking steps back.
