since the whole point of the story was supposed to be lo'ak x vale'wuri, here's a highlight of all my personal favourite interactions between them!
WHEN THEY FIRST MET.
❝ "Hey." The younger Sully son greeted, tilting his head up a little. Vale'wuri just covered her mouth in a slight giggle. ❞
WHEN THEY SURVIVED NALUTSA.
❝❝ "Lo'ak you're okay" Pulling him into a hug, careful not to hurt him anymore. Helping him up from the tulkun's fin to its back. ❞
WHEN THEY WATCHED THE STARS.
❝ Night had fallen and the ocean shined with the florescent aquatic lights. "Do you like looking at the stars?" Vale'wuri watched as Lo'ak gazed ahead of him. "You know my father came from a star. That one right there." He held up Vale'wuri's hand and pointed her finger up at the sky. ❞
WHEN THEY SAID I SEE YOU.
❝ Holding up his hand to show amount of fingers, one in which regular na'vi didn't have. Taking hold of his larger hand, she examined it. "I see you" Holding the hands of the girl, looking into his ember eyes.
Lo'ak's ears perked up at her words. "I've had my eye on you for a while now." He gazed deep into her eyes searching for any regret or lie to her words, but there wasn't any. ❞
