Study, study, study! - I

A/N: This is such an interesting week for your loving sign. You are a bundle of joy, for sure. However, are you loving for the sake of loving? Or are you being a little more picky than usual? It's lunch time and all the girls are having some lunch at the usual table that they always sit. 

"I wonder where the boys are." Seulgi asked. 

"I'm sure they'll be here." Joy said.

And then on that note, BTS had come and they waved over to their best friends before sitting down to join them. 

"V? What's wrong?" Yeri asked.

"Yeah, why do you look so glum?" Irene asked. 

"V had a major argument with his parents. It's about his maths grades and they said if they see another bad maths grade, he can't come to the party." Jimin replied. 

Everyone gasped in shock. 

"Surely, they can't be serious?" Joy asked.

"They are. I never seen my dad so mad before and mom looks like she's finally had enough too." V said, "But what am I going to do? Maths is my weakest subject!" 

"I know how you feel. All of those equations are just too confusing." Yeri replied, "Hey..... maybe Irene can help you study. After all, she helped me and my grades on maths improved ever since." 

"Sure, after all, she's the number one top student in over everything." Wendy replied. 

"You'd really help me, Irene?" V asked. 

"I'm your girlfriend, of course I will." Irene said. 

"Oh, thanks babe. I knew that I can count on you." V replied. 

The next day had arrived andIreneheaded to his house to study for the test. She brought all of her stuff along with her to help. 

Once she's got settled down, they both sat at the floor with textbooks and paper to work on. 

"So what is it about maths that you're not really getting?" She asked. 

"I just..... there's the easiest part but then the hardest part came along like estimating and solving equations that just makes my head spin." He replied. 

"Oh, that's easy. Here, let me show you the routines." I said. 

After writing the routines down, he got more confused than ever so she suggested on sorting things on his own terms to help him understand and that really works. 

"So are we going upwards or downwards?" She asked. 

V thought for a moment before looking back at the method. 

"We're going downwards!" V chirped. 

"Yes! That's correct!" She smiled. 

Day by day, the test was coming closer and V's effort at maths is getting better and better. 

"Solve me this equation for me with what we learned." She handed him the paper. 

Since he's feeling super confident, she decided to give him a question that does't require her help. Once she saw his answer after he's revealed it, she clapped her hands happily. 

"Wow! You've got it right! Without my help!" She chirped. 

"Yeah..... I have. Oh my gosh, I have!" He realized it. 

They both jumped up for joy, knowing that he's defintely got this in the bag and will eb able to go to the party after all.However, the joyous moment has been disurbed by a deep tummy rumble. He looked down and patted on it. 

"Come on, how about I go and make something?" She asked. 

"Do you know how to cook?" He asked. 

"Yeah, I can make top 5 cusine food, you know. Just give me a moment and you will be begging me to get the recipe for it." She winked. 

The day of the maths test have arrived and V and Irene were talking to Jisoo and Bobby. 

"Good luck on the test, V." Jisoo replied. 

"Thanks, Jisoo. I'm gonna need it, espeically after all the studying that we did." V said. 

"I'm sure you're going to rock it exceptionally." Irene placed a hand on huis shoulder. 

The teacher soon came into the room and assigned everyone to their seats as they got ready to do the test. Jisoo gave V a squeeze while Bobby fist bumped him as they ehaded to their seats. 

Once everyone was ready, it's time for the test to begin.

2 months later, the tests results are back and V dashed out of the school's gates.

"Guys! Guys! Guys!" V yelled, "I've got full marks!" 

"No way!" Jimin said, snatching the paper from V to see it fro himself.

"That's incredible, V!" Yeri chirped. 

"And it's all thanks to my beautiful smart girlfriend." V kissed her forhead. 

"Make sure that you don't lose that report card, V. Your parents are going to need some serious proof." Yoongi said. 

"Oh, I will, Yoongi. I will." V smiled. 

"Now you can come to the party!" Joy exclaimed. 

"Yay!" Everyone exclaimed. 

"Oh, Irene, I can't ever thank you more than enouggh. What can I ever do to repay you?" V asked. 

"It was nothing, really. Just be your surprising happy go lucky self." She wrapped her arms around his neck.
