(A/N: Happy Valentine's Day my dear readers! Thanks for the kind patience and support as always. Life has been hectic and too busy for me so bear with me if the updates are a bit slow recently. For now, here is the latest chapter of this fic. I hope that you all enjoy this as much as I did when writing it).
Days passed out like a blur as Isagi walked beside Reo with his hand clasped firmly against his.
Everything was almost hectic and fast to Isagi ever since he accepted Reo's proposal to him previously.
Reo's day at the company seemed to consist of answering calls every morning while being driven away into work inside his sleek, jet-black Lamborghini and being surrounded by his security team, executive secretary, and other employees who's also busy in getting his attention in discussing important business matters to him.
Isagi had learnt all this routine in just a day when Reo discussed his everyday lifestyle and suggested to him that he should accompany him one day to make him more visible to the other people's eyes especially if there were some paparazzi around.
Of course, this has also happened after meeting his parents in a business event which made his own presence graced in the society pages of a lifestyle magazine that only could Isagi think of in his wildest dreams in the past.
Isagi tried to act casual and nonchalant even though the warmth of his hand sent a tingling sensation around his veins when they casually walked around the lobby area of their office building going to the elevator. At first, he didn't deem Reo as to be a physically inclined type of person but upon remembering back in their Blue Lock days on how he was casually touchy with Nagi, Isagi knew that Reo wasn't the type of person who shied away from any physical contact or some sort.
If they want to succeed with this elaborate farce of theirs, Isagi must do his part and swallow back his nerves.
Besides, his own tactical mind wasn't limited inside the soccer field itself.
If he's focused enough, he can put himself to a favorable position even in the most challenging situations such as this.
He doesn't mind that Reo had been doing most of the work but what Reo didn't knew was that he had an ounce of competitive streak within him and he wasn't always dependent and passive when it came to other people.
Isagi squeezed Reo's hand gently while maintaining eye contact with the crowd as they walked through the hallways. If Reo spared him a glance, he made sure to remain graceful and calm to which he inwardly congratulated himself as.
Upon reaching the inside of elevator, Isagi's posture remained upright and dignified even though he can feel the body heat of Reo against his own because of the cramped space they're in as being surrounded by his own staff inside the conveyor. He wanted to curse himself for the irrational feeling and sensation spreading throughout himself because of the proximity that he had with the young, urbane man.
For fuck's sake!
He wasn't a teenager anymore that's bounded by this ridiculous automatic bodily response to an attractive man such as Reo!
His mind came to a screeching halt.
What. The. Hell.
The thought of Reo being an attractive specimen to his eyes was a random thought shot right through his head in the middle of morning.
He didn't need these kinds of useless thoughts distracting his sharp mind and senses!
His heart sped up erratically inside his chest and Isagi was inwardly damn praying that Reo wouldn't take notice of his inner turmoil and havoc that his own presence was causing him.
