His left brow arched as Reo turned around to see Isagi standing there like a statue with a conflicted expression on his face.

"What?" Reo asked in askance.

"There's only one bed." Isagi finally faced him.

"And?" Reo was exhausted to be patient this time around.

"What do you mean and?" Isagi almost burst out before he took a deep breath and calmed himself down. "What will be our sleeping arrangement Reo? It wasn't discussed in the contract but having one bed in this room is a glaring problem for us since we're not exactly the real deal here." He crossed his arms over his chest.

"That's your issue?" Reo shot back before he sighed and went to sit on the bed facing him after putting the towel back on the rack. "If we want to make ourselves be more believable then we need to sleep in one room like a normal, married couple. If you noticed, we're not the only ones who're living in this mansion y'know? There are maids, butler, cooks, gardeners, and drivers here. So, if we don't want to be the subject of their gossip then we will need to act the part successfully."

"I know that." Isagi retorted. "But it's just the two of us here now in the room with no prying eyes. How are we even going to sleep in the bed? One of us will have to take the floor and I'm not the one doing it." He pointed out.

Reo's eyes shot up. "Why would be anyone of us sleep on the floor when we can both sleep in here? It looks huge enough to accommodate both of us." He scoffed lightly before his eyes gleamed and a smirk graced his features which Isagi didn't like one bit. "Are you throwing a tantrum now because you're scared sleeping beside me hmm?"

"What? Excuse-fucking-me?" Isagi glared at him and if looks can kill Reo would be lying on a heap right now.

Alas, it only made Reo's smirk turned devious and wider.

"You got cold feet already from this? Fortunately for you Isagi-kun, you're not my type so rest assured that your chastity is safe from my hands." He replied mockingly.

"Why you bas—." Isagi fumed before he stopped midway and clenched his fists to the side, turning away from Reo's sardonic smile and expression on his face. He didn't want to make the other satisfied that he got under his skin.

"As if I'd want you." Isagi jeered at him as he grabbed a towel from the rack and went inside the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind him.

Reo watched the bathroom door shut with a loud sound before he took a deep breath and lie down on the other side of the bed, covering the half of his body with a blanket.

He didn't mean to provoke the other but sometimes it's hard not to when Isagi was one of his least favorite people he met in his lifetime.

Although Isagi had possessed a nice, amiable personality, Reo couldn't deny that the other had a cocky, arrogant side of him as well that's unleashed when he's on the soccer field or when being challenged.

And Reo couldn't help himself but to take up on that challenge and clashed against him because he wanted to put him on his rightful place.

He stared up at the ceiling, his mind wandering idly now that he was alone in his thoughts and there were no distractions surrounding him.

Although the celebration at the reception hall earlier on the hotel went on smoothly despite the lavishness and extravagance, Reo couldn't help but think that there were still too many guests in their wedding and half of these people were mostly his parents' business associates and acquaintances from their own social stratum.
