Isagi prevented himself from blurting out any stupid remarks just in case there were some maids or other staff from the household that were roaming around the mansion and might listened in at their conversation.

"I didn't know that you could be this romantic baby. You don't have to." Isagi replied in faux sweetness while gritting his teeth.

Reo raised an eyebrow at him before shooting him a playful grin and a wink.

"I only want the best for my darling. So better packed up your suitcase because we're going to the best spots in Hawaii."

"That's what I like about you baby. Always keeping me on my toes and you're just full of surprises." Isagi remarked bitingly.

"What can I say? It's one of those things that made you fall from me." Reo quipped back casually.

Before Isagi could retort with a caustic remark, one of the maid's voices cut them off midway which caught both of their attention.

"Uhm, excuse me sirs, here are the scones. And Master Reo, there's a call from your father. He wants to speak with you." The maid said hesitantly as she handed him the wireless phone and placed the plates of scones on the table.

Isagi observed her in silence and he noticed her awkwardness in her actions...wait...was that a faint blush on her cheeks?

At first, Isagi was confounded about it, slightly bewildered at the maid's reaction before a realization slowly dawned on him.

What the hell? Did the maid thought that they're flirting or some shit like that?

Of course, she would've caught wind of their conversation while she was bringing their tray of scones and based on the term of endearments that slipped out of their lips while they're passively aggressively snapping at each other she would've mistakenly thought it was an act of sweetness between the newly married couple such as them.

'Guess we have future careers in being actors after all.' Isagi scoffed inwardly as he stared at the plate of scones and just focused on eating instead.

He just wanted to focus on eating and putting something on his mouth before it got him into trouble because sometimes it's faster than his brain and he had a knack for blurting out things that had him landed as being a bastard on or off the soccer field.

"All right. Let me speak with him." Reo took the phone from her and stood up. He was already walking away before he paused briefly and glanced at him subtly.

The was a faint ghost of a smirk that inched across Reo's lips which made Isagi's hackles rose.

Reo was already gone from the dining room before he could react sharply and he could only ground his teeth in silent frustration.

If Reo continued to challenge him like this, then Isagi would gladly take him up for it.

Few days later...

The crisp summer air and the salty tang of the beach flooded Isagi's senses once they finally reach their designated hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii.

From the view outside, he can hear the light waves of the sea from the shore but what caught Isagi's attention was the place itself.

It screamed pure luxury and extravagance.

Even though Isagi was already used to the opulence and grandeur places that he found himself in every time he was with Reo, sometimes he was still awestruck at the elegance and lavishness of the places and the people that they're surrounded with.
