"It feels great to get that off my chest." I say. He holds his hand up to his cheek where a red hand-mark was beginning to show. "You don't know how often I have wanted to do that."

He shook his head and stared and me. "What are you doing to me, Amy..." He trailed off.

I smiled, cocking my head to the side. "I'm being the best person you'll ever know; that's mostly because I don't bullshit you."

Jackson let a small smile slip into his face, and i leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek before leaving the room.

I dropped one huge stack of papers on my principles desk. Then another. And then one more.

"This is 75% of the homework I missed while I was gone." I said.

He pushed his glasses to the top of my head. "How did you finish most of what I have you in four days?"

I half-smiled, "Non-stop working, and lots of coffee." I said.

He smiled and nodded curtly, "Alright then, I guess that's fine. I'll see you in a little while, you have one more week of recovery, Ms. Locks. And by then you have to come back to school for the last few weeks."

I nodded, and waved to Mr. Bradley, while walking out of the office.

I had Cody and Kelly help me on all of it.

I snickered as I walked out of the halls and strolled out the door of the school, smiling to myself. I sighed as I threw open the door to my SUV and jumped in.

I drove to the East-Gate mall and grabbed my purse. I needed to buy new clothes because all of mine are to big, now that I was practically anorexic from all that time on the hospital. I went into Aero and practically bought the entire store in extra smalls.

Then I went into Hollister and got nearly everything that was in the smallest of sizes. I then proceeded to do the same thing with Hot Topic, American eagle, and Abercrombie. I walked out of the mall, three hours later. Holding twenty bags on each arm. Successfully balancing them on each arm without letting them fall.

I opened the trunk and flung the bags inside before jumping into the drivers seat and going home.

Dad had recently hired a housemate to help with the housework, as I didn't have the time anymore. She was a sweet Asian women, she was petite and always had her black hair in a tight bun. She wore and apron that seemed to have just about everything in it and was always smiling.

I smiled at Chi and walked upstairs to my room and carefully hung everything up in my closet.

I sighed and fell back onto my bed and took a much needed nap.
•••
"Ms. Amy! You have visitor! It that cute boy from over the road! He here for weekly visit!"

I groaned and rolled over, practically falling off the side. I swing my legs over the side and walked to the door and looked at Chi, who was smiling up and me and pointed downstairs.

I smiled back and slowly walked downstairs. Jackson was here for his weekly visit. I slumped down onto the couch next to him and curled into his side.

He started caressing my hair and looked at me, "You okay?" He asked.

I nodded, "Just feeling really tired lately." I adjusted myself so I could look into his eyes.

He nodded slowly, not fully convinced, but believing me anyways. He let out a big breath, "So what did you do today?" He asked.

I smiled and rested my hand on his chest, "I went shopping and bought the entire East-Gate mall."

He chuckled, "Why did you need new clothes?"

"I've been working out, losing some weight." I answered.

Jackson pulled me closer and hugged me tight. "Your perfect, you don't need to lose any weight." He kissed my head.

I snuggled into his chest, he was still boney, and didn't have much muscle, and I was missing my big, bad boy.

His shirt was riding up his torso and exposed some of his skin. I could see a small tattoo peaking out and reached my hand out, tracing what I could see.

It was a date, and the ending of a name.

He jumped back at my touch, but then relaxed.

"That's a tattoo." He said.

I snorted and rolled my eyes, "I know that; I'm not an idiot."

He stifled his laughter, "What's your definition of idiot?" I smacked him against the chest and he held up his hands in surrender.

"What does it say?" I asked.

He looked down at the tattoo, "It says Evangeline, and the date under it is the day she was born." He said.

"That's beautiful." I said, tracing the big swooping letters, inked onto his skin. "Do you ever think that-"

I was abruptly cut off by my front for slamming open, and bouncing off the wall next to it. Chi came running in the the room looking frazzled. "I try to stop her Ms. Amy! 'e girl just so persistent! I don like her." She said with her hands on her hips.

I smiled. Casey came barreling into the living room behind Chi. "I heard that Bee!" She shouted.

"For de last time: it Chi!" She shouted, annoyed.

Carey waved her off and whistled. Kelly and Izzy came up behind her, carrying bags and seemingly out of breath. (A/N Izzy hasn't been in the story since chapter like 2. She was the soccer buddy, who competed with her for the varsity team.)

Casey turned back to Chi, who was furious and not wearing her usual smile. "Bye-bye Zee, we won't be needing your service for the rest of the evening."

Chi raised her small hand to slap her but Izzy held her off. "It Chi! I tell you always, it Chi!" She screeched, before running off to her room at the other end of the house.

Kelly and Izzy dropped there bags and grabbed Jackson off the couch, carried him out the door, and she him down on my paved walkway.

Izzy waved to him, "I'm sorry, but Amy will not be able to see you for the remainder of the night. If you have any problems, text Chase, don't come here, because we have reinforcements." She have him one last wave before slamming the door in his face.

Casey slumped down next to me and looked over at me in excitement. "What is going on?!?" I asked her.

She squealed as Izzy and Kelly say down on the other chairs in the room. "Girls night, babe!"
