Beomgyu enjoyed the ride so far, he loves the feeling of the cold wind and freedom. He felt safe and comfortable for some reason. He likes how smoothly Taehyun drives the motorcycle as if he were some professional.
He never felt this before, he always thought that he was locked to that accident. It's his first time again to ride something because he's scared of using cars, etc. The reason he wanted to ride the motorcycle was to face his fear.
And he didn't expect that he will successfully do it. Maybe because he's with Taehyun, that makes him feel safe. He unintentionally tightened his grip around Taehyun's waist and leaned his head on Taehyun's back.
Why does he feel so free for the first time in his life? He should've done this before to be able to overcome his fear. He should be living a normal life right now. If it weren't for the helmet, he would love to nuzzle his face on Taehyun.
Taehyun just smiled at Beomgyu's actions. He let him do whatever he wants, he felt Beomgyu's misery, so he's doing it to thank him as well for visiting him in the rehabilitation center. It motivates him to recover and do something besides his addiction because it was his first time seeing someone apart from his mother visit him.
“We're here.”
Beomgyu didn't notice that the motorcycle stopped because he was so lost hugging Taehyun.
“What are we going to do here?” Beomgyu asked, removing the helmet.
They were in the Han river, near the rail, with a few people there too.
“To release some stress, come on.” Taehyun held his wrist, and they went to the rail.
“We're not going to jump off the bridge, right?” Beomgyu inquired.
“Of course not, I don't have the intention to do that. I heard screaming helps people relieve their stress. So, I thought of doing that thing. You can scream your feelings out, I will listen to you, but I won't judge you.” Taehyun stated.
“You won't understand me.” Beomgyu murmured.
“I'm a great listener, scream as loud as you can. I'll be on your back.” Taehyun tapped his back to assure him.
“It'll be embarrassing, there are a lot of people here.” Beomgyu uttered, biting his bottom lip.
“Trust me, they won't mind you. If they ever laugh at you, I'll punch them in the face.” Taehyun playfully said.
Beomgyu giggled a bit and took a deep breath before facing the rail and holding on to it.
“I'm sorry…"
He just said it in a lower tone before he cleared his throat.
“I'm sorry, Eomma, Appa! I'm sorry for everything I've done for you! Please forgive me! I know I'm not the best son, but I will be a better person! So please, guide me to a better path! Please keep watching me from there, Eomma, and Appa!
I will start to move on from now on! I promise you, that I'll be successful in my life! And will be free from my depression! Eomma! Appa! We will meet again, so please wait for me there! I love you two."
Beomgyu screamed out what he wanted to say loud. He catches his breath and, for some reason, he felt his heart gets lighter than before. He doesn't feel upset anymore.
“You did a good job” Taehyun told him, caressing his back.
He looked at Taehyun with a few teary eyes and smiled at him.
“Thank you.”
Beomgyu didn't hesitate to hug Taehyun, it made Taehyun taken aback, but he couldn't help but hug him back.
